Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Հայաստանում անցած ՀԱՊԿ միջոցառումների գլխավոր արդյունքն այն չէր, որ մեր երկրի ներկայացուցիչն այդպես էլ չդարձավ այդ կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղար։ Ոչ էլ այն էր, որ Ղազախստանի նախագահ Նազարբաևը «դիվանագիտական հարբուխով» հիվանդացավ։ Դրանք մանրուքներ էին։ Ի՞նչ պիտի աներ հայ գեներալը ՀԱՊԿ-ի քարտուղարի պաշտոնում, երբ այդ կազմակերպությունը կոչված է բացառապես սպասարկելու Ռուսաստանի ռազմաքաղաքական շահերը։ Կարևորն այստեղ հենց այդ շահերն են, որոնք, ցավոք, այս պահին կտրուկ հակադրվում են Միացյալ Նահանգների շահերին։

Երևանում «ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների» ցանկի հաստատումն այդ հակասությունների դրսևորումներից մեկն է։ Եվ խոսքն այստեղ, ինչպես հասկանում եք, ոչ թե Եվրասիական տարածաշրջանի, այլ Սիրիայի մասին է, որտեղ Ռուսաստանը և Միացյալ Նահանգները գրեթե պատերազմում են միմյանց դեմ։ Հենց այդ հողի վրա էլ առաջանում է «ահաբեկչության» եզրի, մեղմ ասած, տարընթերցումը։

...Ռուսները հովանավորում են Ասադին, իսկ ամերիկացիները՝ «կալաշնիկով» և հրետանի ունեցող «ընդդիմադիրներին»։ Եվ ահա այս վեճին Ռուսաստանը մասնակից է դարձնում ևս չորս երկրների, մասնավորապես՝ Հայաստանին, որը բազմաթիվ պատճառներով, այդ թվում՝ Սիրիայում բազմահազարանոց հայ համայնք ունենալու պատճառով ավելի լավ է՝ չեզոք դիրք զբաղեցներ։ Բայց ոչ՝ մենք հայտնվել ենք «ռուսական դաշինքում» և մեր բախտակիցների հետ միասին պարտադրված ենք ստորագրել Ռուսաստանի դեմ տված «ահաբեկչական խմբերի ցուցակները»։

Իդեալական կլիներ ընդհանրապես չմտնել օտար խաղերի մեջ։ Բայց քանի որ դա գործնականում հնարավոր չէ, պետք է գոնե, խաղի մեջ մտնելով, ինչ-որ օգուտներ քաղել։ Ահա այդ օգուտներն են, որ չեն  երևում»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
