ՄԱԿ-ը Հալեպում հումանիտար իրավիճակի բարելավման հնարավորություն չի տեսնում: РИА Новости-ի փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ստեֆան Դյուժարիկը:
Պատասխանելով քաղաքում տիրող հումանիտար իրավիճակի մասին հարցին` Դյուժարիկը տեղեկացրել է, որ ՄԱԿ-ը մինչ օրս չի կարողանում հասնել հումանիտար օգնության կարիք ունեցող մարդկանց: «Ես իրավիճակի բարելավում չեմ տեսնում», - ասել է Դյուժարիկը:
ՄԱԿ-ի տվյալներով` Հալեպի արևելյան մասում մինչև 275 000 մարդ բնակվում է շրջափակման մեջ:
ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը շաբաթ Սիրիայում, մասնավորապես Հալեպում տիրող իրավիճակի հարցի շուրջ արտահերթ նիստ է անցկացրել, որի ժամանակ դիտարկվել է բանաձևի երկու տարբերակ` ֆրանսիական, որն է Հալեպում հրադադար սահմանել և ոչ թռիչքային գոտի ստեղծել, և ռուսական՝ աջակցել սեպտեմբերի 9-ին ՌԴ-ի և ԱՄՆ-ի կայացրած համաձայնության ծրագրին: Փաստաթղթերից և ոչ մեկը սակայն չի ընդունվել:
