Pressmedia.am-ը գրում է․
Ընդամենը ժամեր առաջ վերջապես հանգուցալուծվեց վանաձորյան հետընտրական թնջուկը։ Վանաձորի քաղաքապետ ընտրվեց Հանրապետական կուսակցության թեկնածուն՝ ավագանու անդամների 19 քվեով։ Դեպքերի նման զարգացումով հօդս ցնդեցին հույսերը, թե գոնե այս անգամ Հանրապետականը կդառնա ընդդիմություն և ներուժ կունենա հեռանալու իշխանությունից, սակայն Վանաձորի պարագայում Հանրապետականը չի կարող դառնալ տարատեսակ մեղադրանքների թիրախ, խնդիրն այստեղ բոլորովին այլ տեղում է։
Ինչպես գիտեինք, Վանաձորում «Հայկական վերածնունդն» ու «Բարգավաճ Հայաստանը» հուշագիր էին ստորագրել «Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» հետ և պաշտպանում էին վերջինիս թեկնածությունը։ Այս հուշագրին համաձայն՝«Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» թեկնածուն ուներ 18 ավագանու անդամի աջակցությունը, ինչը բավարար էր քաղաքապետ ընտրվելու համար, սակայն փակ՝ գաղտնի քվեարկությամբ Հանրապետական կուսակցության թեկնածուն ստացավ 19 ձայն, իսկ նրա մրցակիցը՝ 14։ Այս ամբողջ գործընթացը հրապարակային էր և հասանելի ցանկացած քաղաքացու՝ ուղիղ հետարձակմամբ։ Արդյունքում՝ Հայաստանը կարելի է ականատես եղավ դասական քաղաքական անբարոյականության։ Ի դեպ, հենց «անբարոյական» բնութագրեց Հեղինե Բիշարյանն այն 4 հոգուն, ովքեր շեղվել են իրենց կուսակցությունների քաղաքական հայտարարությունից և ընտրել հանրապետական թեկնածուին։
Թե որ կուսակցությունն է այսպես ասած «քցել» «Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» թեկնածուին, այս պահին դժվար է ասել, սակայն նման բաները հնարավոր չէ երկար ժամանակ գաղտնի պահել։ Սակայն դա այլևս էական չէ, քանի որ արդեն իսկ ՀՎԿ-ն և ԲՀԿ-ն հայտարարել են, թե վստահում են իրենց անդամներին և քվեարկել են համաձայն իրենց քաղաքական հայտարարության։ Թե նրանցից որն է ստում, ցույց կտա ժամանակը։ Բացի այս զարգացումներից՝ առավել հետաքրքիր էր նաև մեկ այլ փաստ։ Ըստ էության՝ Վանաձորում և Գյումրիում մենք այդպես էլ չունեցանք քաղաքական գործընթացի արդյունքում ձևավորված տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմին։ Այն, ինչ կատարվում էր այս երկու քաղաքներում, հակասում էր ցանկացած առողջ տրամաբանությանը, քանի որ երկու քաղաքներում էլ քաղաքապետեր ընտրվեցին չընտրված անձինք։
