Հոկտեմբերի 2-ին կայացած ՏԻՄ ընտրություններով Հայաստանում, կարելի է ասել՝ փակվեց ընտրական տարին։  2017 թվականի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին ընդառաջ թվում էր՝ երկրում կրկին ընթանալու են քաղաքական և ընտրական գործընթացներ, որոնք լիովին տեղավորվելու էին իշխանության խաղի կանոնների և տրամաբանության շրջանակներում։ Սակայն Գյումրիում և Վանաձորում համայնքի ղեկավարի համամասնական ընտրակարգով տեղի ունեցած ընտրություններնանակնկալ արդյունք գրանցեցին։

Նախև առաջ, ներկայումս արդեն կարող ենք փաստել, որ այս երկու խոշոր քաղաքներում էլ արմատական ընդդիմության դիրքերից հանդես եկող քաղաքական ուժերը ձախողվեցին՝ ոչ միայն չհաղթահարելով անցողիկ շեմը, այլև չափազանց փոքր թվովքվեներ ստանալով։Մյուս կողմից՝ իշխող կուսակցությունը նույնպես չկարողացավ համոզիչ հաղթանակ տանել, քանի որ չկարողացավ հաղթահարել 40 տոկոսի շեմը, որը հնարավորություն կտարԳյումրիում՝ «Բալասանյան դաշինքին», իսկՎանաձորում՝ «Հանրապետական» կուսակցությանը սեփական ուժերով ընտրել քաղաքապետի։

Ըստ էության, մինչ այս պահը դեռևս պարզ չէ, թե ով կընտրվի այս երկու քաղաքաներում քաղաքապետ, քանի որ ընտրությունը տեղի է ունենալու նոր կազմավորված ավագանու անդրանիկ նիստում։

Սակայն, անկախ նրանից, որ ուժը վերջապես հաղթանակ կտանի Գյումրիում և Վանաձորում, հոկտեմբերի 2-ին հաջորդած գործընթացները, ըստ էության, արտացոլեցինայն խառնաշփոթը, որը տիրում է հայաստանյան քաղաքական դաշտում։
