Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Երևանի օրվա առթիվ: Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում ասվում է.
«Սիրելի՛ երևանցիներ,
շնորհավորում եմ ձեզ, մեզ բոլորիս և, ընդհանրապես, համայն աշխարհի հայությանը՝ մեր սիրելի մայրաքաղաքի ծննդյան 2798-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ: Այսօր մենք հպարտությամբ ենք փաստում, որ հազարամյակների պատմություն ունեցող մեր «Արևի քաղաքն» աշխարհին ներկայանում է որպես մշտապես երիտասարդ, գործուն, զարգացող, ժամանակին համահունչ ու ներկայանալի:
Եվ դա շնորհիվ մեր համաքաղաքացիների, այն մարդկանց, ովքեր ապրում ու արարում են մայրաքաղաքի հանդեպ սիրո և պարտքի գիտակցումով՝ ոչ միայն եղածը պահպանելու, այլև Երևանն ավելի գեղեցիկ ու լավը դարձնելու և այն արժանապատվորեն սերունդներին փոխանցելու ցանկությամբ:
Տարեցտարի գունառատ ու հագեցած է դառնում մայրաքաղաքային առօրյան՝ համալրվելով դեռ ոչ վաղ անցյալում անհավանական թվացող, բայց այսօր արդեն իրականություն դարձած նախաձեռնություններով ու մտահղացումներով, որոնցից շատերն արդեն հարազատորեն դարձել են ավանդական, սպասված ու կենցաղի անբաժանելի մաս:
«Էրեբունի-Երևանը» միաժամանակ մեր հզոր նախնիներից հոգևոր լիցքեր ստանալու, միմյանց նկատմամբ վստահությամբ, սիրով ու հարգանքով համակվելու և դրական այդ լիցքերը մեր սիրելի մայրաքաղաքին փոխանցելու հիանալի առիթ է: Այս տոնը ոչ միայն Արևի քաղաք Երևանի կուտակած ջերմությունը մեր համաքաղաքացիներին ու մայրաքաղաքի հյուրերին փոխանցելու հնարավորություն է, այլ նաև հավաստումն է այն կամքի, որ ամեն ինչ արվել և արվելու է համայն հայության մայրաքաղաքի լուսավոր ապագան երաշխավորելու համար:
