Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի առաջնորդողից մի հատված.

«Երեկ Ազգային ժողովում կայացան սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների նախագծի շուրջ խորհրդարանական լսումներ, որոնց ընթացքում հնչեցին ինչպես՝ այդ բարեփոխումները պաշտպանող, այնպես էլ՝ քննադատող բազմաթիվ գնահատականներ։ Բայց դրանց թվում ամենաուշագրավը Սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների մասնագիտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ, Աժ-ում նախագահի ներկայացուցիչ Վարդան Պողոսյանի հայտարարությունն էր այն մասին, որ 1995 թվականին ընդունված Սահմանադրությունն իշխանակենտրոն էր, իսկ այսօր առաջարկվողը՝ մարդակենտրոն։ Համաձայնեք, շատ գեղեցիկ է հնչում, և գուցե սահմանադրական նախագծի տարբեր գլուխներում «մարդակենտրոնությունն» ապահովող ավելի  գեղեցիկ ձևակերպումներ էլ ամրագրված լինեն, որոնք մեխանիկորեն կվկայեն «մարդակենտրոնության» մասին։

Իրականում, սակայն, Հայաստանի ներկայիս իշխանության, այս սահմանադրական բարեփոխումները ներկայացնող իշխանության պայմաններում մարդակենտրոնության մասին խոսելն ուղղակի ծիծաղելի է։ Իշխանության անմիջական ու հետևողական ջանքերը արդյունքում՝ Հայաստանում մարդը վաղուց ոչ թե նպատակ է, այլ միջոց՝ իշխանությունը պահպանելու ու դրանից բխող համապատասխան նյութական ռեսուրսներին տիրապետելու համար։ Հայաստանում որևէ քայլ կատարվում է ոչ թե մարդու, քաղաքացու համար, այլ ճիշտ հակառակը՝ արվում է հնարավորը, որպեսզի մարդը հեռանա Հայաստանից, ու, ինչպես ժամանակին նախկին վարչապետն էր խոստովանել, չմնա Հայաստանում ու հեղափոխություն չանի։ Իրականում մարդակենտրոն պետք է լինի ոչ թե Սահմանադրությունը, այլ, առաջին հերթին, իշխանությունը, որը՝ այսպիսին լինելու դեպքում, պետությունը կդարձնի քաղաքացու «կենտրոն»՝ անկախ կառավարման կարգից։ Հետևաբար՝ մարդակենտրոնության համար պետք է փոխել ոչ թե Սահմանադրությունը, այլ իշխանությունը, ինչպես՝ ֆիզիկապես, այնպես էլ հոգեբանության, աշխարհընկալման, մտածողության առումով։ Իսկ այսօր ներկայացվող սահմանադրական փոփոխությունները, առաջին հերթին, ապահովելու են գործող իշխանության վերարտադրությունը, որի գործունեության արդյունքում Հայաստանի «ամենամարդակենտ– րոն» հաստատությունը դարձել է «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանը»,–գրում է թերթը։
