Շարմազանովն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Լիտվայի դեսպանին

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, Հայաստան-Լիտվա խորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հոկտեմբերի 6-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Լիտվայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Էրիկաս Պետրիկասին: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի աշխատակազմից:
Ողջունելով դեսպանին՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը բարեկամական է գնահատել հայ-լիտվական հարաբերությունները եւ նշել, որ դրանք տարեցտարի զարգանում են, ինչում իր մեծ ներդրումն ունի նաեւ դեսպան Էրիկաս Պետրիկասը: Խոսելով երկու երկրների ոչ վաղ քաղաքական անցյալից՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը նկատել է, որ թե հայ, թե լիտվացի ժողովուրդների ձգտումը մեծ է եղել անկախության նկատմամբ, իսկ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անկախությունն առաջինը ճանաչել է Լիտվայի Հանրապետությունը:
Անդրադառնալով ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցին՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը դրական է գնահատել Լիտվայի իշխանությունների հավասարակշիռ դիրքորոշումը եւ այն աջակցությունը, որը համահունչ է այդ հարցում ԵՄ դիրքորոշմանը: ԱԺ փոխնախագահը մեկ անգամ եւս նշել է, որ հայկական կողմը դեմ է խնդիրը ռազմական ճանապարհով լուծելուն: «Խնդիրը պետք է լուծվի 3 հիմնարար սկզբունքներով. ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշման իրավունքի, տարածքային ամբողջականության եւ, որ շատ կարեւոր է՝ խաղաղ կարգավորմամբ»,- ԵՄ մի խումբ պաշտոնյաների տեսակետն է փոխանցել Էդուարդ Շարմազանով ը:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ դեսպան Էրիկաս Պետրիկասը սիրով է խոսել Հայաստանում իր պաշտոնավարման երեք տարիների մասին եւ նույնպես նշել, որ հայ-լիտվական կապերն ակտիվ զարգանում են, առաջընթաց է գրանցվել նաեւ միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններում: Դեսպանը շնորհավորել է հայ ժողովրդին ՀՀ անկախության 25-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ եւ փոխանցել Լիտվայի խորհրդարանի նախագահի՝ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահին ուղղված շնորհավորական ուղերձը:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են երկկողմ քաղաքական, առեւտրատնտեսական, մշակութային հարաբերություններին վերաբերող հարցեր: Անդրադարձ է եղել երկու երկրներում սպասվող խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին, առեւտրատնտեսական կապերի աճին: Դեսպանը գոհունակություն է հայտնել լիտվական ապրանքները Հայաստանում, ինչպես նաեւ՝ Հայաստանի միջոցով Իրան արտահանելու հնարավորության համար, ինչն իրականացել է Հայաստան-Իրան-Լիտվա բիզնես-ֆորումի արդյունքում:
