ԱՄՆ-ը կշարունակի  գործակցության ուղիներ փնտրել իր դաշնակիցների ու այլ երկրների, ներառյալ Ռուսաստանի հետ, որպեսզի հասնի քաղաքական մեթոդներով Սիրիայի հակամարտության կարգավորման: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, մամուլի ասուլիսում հայտարարել Է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Ջոշ ռնեստը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Վաշինգտոնում չեն կարծում, որ այդ խնդիրը կարելի Է լուծել «ամերիկացի զինվորականների ցամաքային ներխուժման միջոցով»: «Նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման գտնում Է, որ հարկավոր Է դիվանագիտություն կիրառել, եւ մենք համագործակցության ուղիներ ենք փնտրելու մեր դաշնակիցների ու գործընկերների, երբեմն Էլ այնպիսի երկրների հետ, ինչպես Ռուսաստանն Է, որպեսզի նվազեցնենք բռության աստիճանը»,- ասել Է Էռնեստը: 

Իր հերթին ԱՄՆ-ի Պետդեպարտամենտի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարկ Թոները հայտնել Է, որ Սիրիայի խնդրի շուրջ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ ՄԴ-ի շփումները շարունակվում են: Նա հաստատել Է, որ հոկտեմբերի 5-ին կայացել Է ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի հերթական հեռախոսազրույցը Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ: Նրա խոսքով՝ արծարծվել Է Սիրիայի իրադրությունը, ինչպես նաեւ Ուկրաինային ու ԿԺԴՀ-ին վերաբերող հարցեր:  

«Սիրիայի շուրջ Ռուսաստանի հետ երկկողմ գործակցությունը դադարեցված Է, բայց դա չի խանգարում նախարարներին շփվել»,- ասել Է Թոները: «Հալեպում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների լույսով մեր կողմից անպատասխանատու կլիներ հրաժարվել դրանից»,- հավելել Է նա, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
