ՀՀ փոխարտգործնախարարը ՄԱԿ-ի ամբիոնից ներկայացրել է Ադրբեջանի ապրիլյան ագրեսիան

ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Աշոտ Հովակիմյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, որի կազմում էր նաև ՀՀ պետական միգրացիոն ծառայության պետ Գագիկ Եգանյանը, մասնակցեց հոկտեմբերի 3-7-ը Ժնևում ընթացող ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով Բարձր հանձնակատարի ծրագրի Գործադիր կոմիտեի 67-րդ նստաշրջանին։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղ եկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:
Նստաշրջանին բացմանը խոսքով հանդես եկավ ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Բան Կի-Մունը, որին հաջորդեց ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով Բարձր հանձնակատար Ֆիլիպո Գրանդիի ելույթը։
ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Աշոտ Հովակիմյանն իր ելույթում անդրադարձավ փախստականներին առնչվող գլոբալ մարտահրավերներին` ընդգծելով ՀՀ պատրաստակամությունը շարունակելու արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը Բարձր հանձնակատարի գրասենյակի հետ` տեղահանված անձանց կարիքները հոգալու և փախստականներին ու ապաստան հայցողներին անհրաժեշտ աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու հարցում։
ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալն անդրադարձավ Ադրբեջանից գաղթած հայ փախստականների խնդրին, ովքեր Ադրբեջանի վարած էթնիկ զտումների քաղաքականության հետևանքով ստիպված էին լքել իրենց տները՝ դառնալով փախստականներ։ Նախարարի տեղակալը ներկայացրեց նաև այս տարվա ապրիլի սկզբին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ագրեսիան, որն ուղեկցվեց միջազգային հումանիտար իրավունքի կոպտագույն խախտումներով:
Աշոտ Հովակիմյանն անդրադարձ կատարեց նաև Սիրիայից փախստականների խնդրին` նշելով, որ Հայաստանը, ապաստան տրամադրելով ավելի քան 20 հազար փախստականների, բնակչության թվի հարաբերակցությամբ երրորդն է Եվրոպայում` Սիրիայից փախստականներ ընդունող երկրների շարքում:
Արձագանքելով ՀՀ պատվիրակության ելույթին՝ Բարձր հանձնակատար Ֆիլիպո Գրանդին նշեց, որ ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով գրասենյակը շարունակելու է աջակցել տարածաշրջանում տեղահանված անձանց խնդիրների լուծմանը` կարևորելով ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության շուտափույթ կարգավորումը և աջակցություն հայտնելով ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ջանքերին:
Նստաշրջանի աշխատանքներին մասնակցող ՀՀ ԱԳ փոխնախարարն առանձնազրույց ունեցավ ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով Բարձր հանձնակատար Ֆիլիպո Գրանդիի հետ։
Միջոցառման շրջանակներում տեղի ունեցավ նաև Նանսենի անվան ավանդական մրցանակաբաշխությունը, որն այս տարի շնորհվեց Հունաստանի Լեզբոս կղզում գործող Հունաստանի փրկարար ծառայությանը և փախստականների համար կղզում օթևան հիմնած հասարակական կազմակերպությանը՝ փախստականներին կամավոր սկզբունքով աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու համար:
