Վրաստանի գործող նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին առաջատարն Է հանրապետության նախագահի պաշտոնի թեկնածուների վարկանիշում: Դա, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ցույց Է տալիս GFK ամերիկյան ընկերության հարցումը, որն անցկացվել Է «Ռուսթավի-2» հեռուստաընկերության պատվերով:

Վրաստանի նախագահը պետության ղեկավարն Է եւ ընտրվում Է ուղղակի քվեարկությամբ: Սակայն նրա լիազորությունները սահմանափակված են, եւ նա ավելի շատ ներկայացուցչական դեր Է խաղում:

Հարցումը ցույց Է տվել, որ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլիին պատրաստ Է աջակցել հարցվածների 9,2 տոկոսը:

Երկրորդ տեղում «Միասնական ազգային շարժում» նախկին իշխող կուսակցության ղեկավար Դավիթ Բաքրաձեն Է՝ 7,5 տոկոս ձայներով, երրորդում Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահ Միխեիլ Սահակաշվիլին: «Վրացական երազանք-Ժողովրդավարական Վրաստան» կառավարող կուսակցության առաջնորդ եւ երկրի վաչապետ Գեորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլին հավաքել Է ձայների 4,4 տոկոսը, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Իրակլի Ալասանիան՝ 3,5 տոկոսը, Շալվա Նաթելաշվիլին՝ 2,7 տոկոսը: Խորհրդարանի նախկին խոսնակ Նինո Բուրջանաձեին պետության ղեկավարի պաշտոնում ցանկանում Է տեսնել հարցման մասնակիցների 2,6 տո կոսը, Վրաստանի նախկին վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլիին՝ 1,8 տոկոսը, իսկ միլիարդատեր Բիձինա Իվանիշվիլիին՝ 1,1 տոկոսը: 

Սոցիոլոգիական հետազոտությունը սեպտեմբերի 12-25-ն անցկացվել Է Վրաստանի տարածքում: հարցմանը մասնակցել են ընտրություններում քվեարկելու իրավունք ունեցող 2,2 հազար քաղաքացիներ: Հարցման անճշտությունը կազմել Է 2,1 տոկոս:
