Համաշխարհային մրցունակության 2016 թվականի զեկույցի համաձայն` Հայաստանում մրցակցային միջավայրի բարելավման ուղղությամբ արձանագրվել է զգալի առաջընթաց։ Մրցունակության զեկույցը յուրաքանչյուր տարի հրապարակվում է Համաշխարհային տնտեսական ֆորումի կողմից և հանդիսանում է աշխարհի երկրների մրցունակության գնահատման միջազգային ճանաչում ունեցող առաջատար աղբյուրը։ ԶÕ �կույցում ներկայացված տվյալների համաձայն` մեր երկիրը զգալի առաջընթաց է արձանագրել մրցակցության վրա գերիշխող դիրք ունեցող սուբյեկտների ազդեցության, ինչպես նաև հակամենաշնորհային քաղաքականության արդյունավետությունը բնութագրող ցուցանիշների գծով։

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՏՄՊՊՀ-ից, տվյալ երկրում տնտեսական մրցակցության իրավիճակի կարևոր բնութագրիչներից մեկը համարվում է մրցակցային դաշտի վրա գերիշխող տնտեսվարողների  ազդեցությունը: Այս ցուցանիշով Հայաստանն աշխարհի 138 երկրների շարքում զբաղեցնում է 51-րդ հորիզոնականը, ինչը նշանակում է, որ մեր դիրքերը բարելավել ենք միանգամից 28 կետով: Սա վերջին 10 տարիների լավագույն ցուցանիշն է:  Հայաստանն այս ցուցանիշով զգալիորեն գերազանցում է ԱՊՀ անդամ բոլոր պետություններին, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանի  և Արևելան Եվրոպայի մի շարք երկրների։ Օրինակ, Ադրբեջանը զբաղեցնում է 74-րդ, Վրաստանը՝ 76-րդ, Լիտվան՝ 77-րդ, Ուկրաինան՝ 99-րդ, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը՝ 59-րդ, Ղազախստանը՝ 69-րդ, Սլովակիան 80-րդ, Հունգարիան՝ 113-րդ, Մոլդովան՝ 127-րդ հորիզոնականը և այլն։

Հակամենաշնորհային քաղաքականության արդյունավետությունը բնութագրող ցուցանիշի գծով Հայաստանն աշխարհի 138 երկրների շարքում զբաղեցնում է 77-րդ տեղը` արձանագրելով առաջընթաց 11 կետով: Մասնավորապես, Հայաստանին զիջում են մի շարք պետություններ, որոնք զբաղեցնում են հետևյալ հորիզոնականները. Սլովակիա՝ 86-րդ, Ռումինիա՝ 101-րդ, Վրաստան՝ 114-րդ, Մոլդովա՝ 134-րդ, Ուկրաինա՝  136-րդ, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն՝ 82-րդ, Ղազախստան՝ 83-րդ  և այլն։
