Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Լևոն Ալթունյանի և առողջապահության ոլորտի պաշտոնատար մի շարք անձանց հետ ներկա է գտնվել Լևոն Հովհաննիսյանի անվան «Սրտաբանության գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի» հիմնադրման 55-ամյակին նվիրված ԳԱԱ անցկացված համաժողովի բացմանը:

Շնորհավորելով ինստիտուտի հիմնադրման 55-ամյակի առիթվ և ողջունելով համաժողովի անցկացումը՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը բարձր է գնահատել ինստիտուտի դերը առողջապահության ոլորտում:
«Սրտաբանության գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի անցած այս 55 տարիներին եղել են և´ խոչընդոտներ, և´ ձեռքբերումներ: Թեև վերջին տարիներին այստեղ կային կառավարման որոշակի խնդիրներ, այսօր արդեն դրանք հաղթահարված են ու այժմ ինստիտուտը բռնել է զարգացման նոր ուղի: Վստահեցնում եմ, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանն իր լիազորությունների շրջանակում լինելու է ձեր կողքին և առողջապահության նախարարության հետ համատեղ աջակցելու է բոլոր այն ծրագրերին, որոնք ինստիտուտը դրել է իր առջև և ծառայեցնելու է մեր բնակչության առողջության պահպանմանը»,- ընդգծել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ երկօրյա համաժողովի ընթացքում փորձի և մտքերի փոխանակումն իր հերթին կարևոր դեր կունենա սրտաբանության բնագավառի արդի մարտահրավերների հաղթահարման գործում:
Լևոն Հովհաննիսյանի անվան «Սրտաբանության գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի» 55-ամյակի առթիվ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Երևանի քաղաքապետի ոսկե մեդալով է պարգևատրել ինստիտուտի կլինիկական լաբորատոր ախտորոշման բաժանմունքի վարիչ, բժշկական գիտությունների դոկտոր-պրոֆեսոր Վիլիս Մկրտչյանին: 
«Սրտաբանության գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի» առիթմոլոգիայի բաժանմունքի վարիչ, բժշկական գիտությունների դոկտոր-պրոֆեսոր Սվետլանա Գրիգորյանը, ընդհանուր սրտաբանության բաժանմունքի վարիչ, բժշկական գիտությունների թեկնածու Հայկ Քամալյանը և ինստիտուտի ինտերվենցիոն սրտաբանության և կլինիկական էլեկտրաֆիզիոլոգիայի բաժանմունքի վարիչ, բժշկական գիտությունների դոկտոր-պրոֆեսոր Աշոտ Հովհաննիսյանն էլ պարգևատրվել են Երևանի քաղաքապետի պատվոգրերով:
