2017 թվականի համար երկրի պետական բյուջեում պաշտպանական ոլորտի համար ծախսերը նախատեսված են 1 մլրդ 615 մլն 359.868 հազար մանաթի չափով, որից 1 մլրդ 486 մլն 905.140 հազար մանաթը նախատեսվում է պաշտպանական ուժերի, 122 մլն 700.302 հազարը` ազգային անվտանգության ծախսերի, իսկ 2 մլն 642.144 հազար մանաթը` պաշտպանության եւ անվտանգության ոլորտներում կատարվելիք ուսումնասիրությունների համար:

Ադրբեջանի 2016 թվականի պետական բյուջեում պաշտպանական ոլորտի համար նախատեսված ծախսերը կազմել են 1 մլրդ 837 մլն 821,237 հազար մանաթ, ինչը կազմել է ամբողջ բյուջետային ծախսերի 12,6 տոկոսը, իսկ 2015 թվականի բյուջեում Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ծախսերը նախատեսված են եղել 3 մլրդ 783 մլն մանաթ, որը պետք է կազմեր 2015 թվականի պետբյուջեի 17,9 տոկոսը:

Այս ամենը նշանակում է, որ վերջին 2 տարում Ադրբեջանի ռազմական բյուջեն կրճատվել է ավելի քան 2 անգամ:
