Մանիլայում Թուրքիայի դեսպանատունը փորձել է խափանել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի պատարագը։

Սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Վիետնամում ՀՀ դեսպանության նախաձեռնությամբ Ֆիլիպինների մայրաքաղաք Մանիլայի Սանտուարիո դե Սեն Անտոնիո եկեղեցում մատուցվեց Սուրբ Պատարագ՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին:

Պատարագին ներկա էին Ֆիլիպինների խորհրդարանի սենատորներ, Մանիլայի քաղաքային իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, Թագուկ քաղաքի քաղաքապետը, երկրում հավատարմագրված դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների ղեկավարներ, Հայաստան-Ֆիլիպիններ բարեկամության խմբի անդամներ:

Պատարագից հետո Մանիլայի «Աստորիա» հյուրանոցում տեղի ունեցավ հիշատակի երեկո, որի ընթացքում ելույթներով հանդես եկան Ֆիլիպիններում ՀՀ դեսպան Ռաիսա Վարդանյանը եւ հայտնի գործարար Ջեֆրի Նագը:

Մանիլայի Սանտուարիո դե Սեն Անտոնիո եկեղեցում սեպտեմբերի 27-ին կայանալիք պատարագի խափանման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ էին իրականացվում Մանիլայում Թուրքիայի հյուպատոսի կողմից: Վերջինս այդ հարցի առնչությամբ կապ էր հաստատել եկեղեցու առաջնորդի հետ եւ զրույցի ժամանակ նշել, որ պատարագը հայերի կողմից կազմակերպվող քաղաքական ակցիա է, որը «պետք է արգելվի՝ հետագա քաղաքականհետեւանքներից խուսափելու համար»:

ԱԳՆ տեղեկություններով՝ Թուրքիայի դեսպանությունը բողոք է հղել նաեւ Ֆիլիպինների արտաքին գործերի դեպարտամենտին:

Այնուամենայնիվ, Ֆիլիպիններում ՀՀ դեսպանության կազմակերպմամբ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին անցկացվեց պատարագ, որին հետեւած միջոցառման ժամանակ մասնակիցներին ներկայացվեց հակիրճ հուշագիր Հայոց պատմության եւ ցեղասպանության մասին:
