 Աֆղանստանի նախագահ Աշրաֆ Ղանին սեպտեմբերի 29-ին հաշտության համաձայնագիր Է ստորագրել «Հեզբ Է Իսլամի»-ի (Աֆղանստանի իսլամական կուսակցություն) հետ, որը գլխավորում Է մոջահեդների կառավարության նախկին վարչապետ Գուլբեդդին Հեքմաթիյարը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Անցած շաբաթ Աֆղանստանի կառավարության ներկայացուցիչները, ներառյալ ազգային անվտանգության հարցերով խորհրդական Մուհամադ Հանիֆ Աթմարան, եւ կուսակցության պատվիրակության ղեկավարը հաշտության համաձայնագիր Էին ստորագրել:  

«Ասոշիեյթեդ պրես» գործակալության տվյալներով՝ ստորագրման արարողությունը տեղի Է ունեցել Քաբուլի նախագահական պալատում: Հեքմաթիյարն անձամբ ներկա չի եղել դրան, իսկ համաձայնագիրն ստորագրել Է տեսակապով: Իրադարձությունը հեռարձակվել Է տեղական հեռուստատեսությամբ:

Աֆղանստանի իսլամական կուսակցությունը քաղաքական կուսակցություն Է, այն 1976 թվականին հիմնադրվել Է Հեքմաթիյարի կողմից եւ ներկայացնում Է փուշտուների շահերը: Օրինական ներկայացուցչություն ունի Աֆղանստանի խորհրդարանում, ինչհես նաեւ ռազմականացված կազմավորումներ, որոնք ներառում են մոտավորապես հազար մարդ:

2012-2013 թվականներին կուսակցության զինյալներն ստանձնել են ահաբեկչական գործողությունների պատասխանատվությունը: ԱՄՆ-ը կուսակցությունը ծայրահեղական Է համարում նրա «կատաղի հակաամերիկյան գաղափարախոսության» եւ շարիաթական իրավունքը պաշտպանելու համար, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
