«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Armtimes.com-ը սեպտեմբերի 20-ին «Հայկազ Բաղմանյանը բիզնես է խլել. գործարարը դիմում է Կարեն Կարապետյանին» վերնագրով հոդված էր հրապարակել, որում Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Մարտունի քաղաքի «Պանրագործական ընկերություն» ԲԲԸ-ի տնօրեն Թաթուլ Բաղդասարյանը պատմել էր, թե ինչպես է ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ Հայկազ Բաղմանյանի հետ նախնական համաձայնությամբ բիզնես հիմնադրել, սակայն վերջինս «խլել է» համատեղ բիզնեսը: Այդ հրապարակումից մոտ մեկ շաբաթ անց Հայկազ Բաղմանյանը «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում հայտարարել է հետեւյալը. «Ես Թաթուլի մասին իմացել եմ, երբ նա սկսել է բողոքել։ Բացի էդ, 6 ատյան անցել է, ու հիմա ինքը նոր վարչապետին է դիմո՞ւմ»:
Թաթուլ Բաղդասարյանն այսօր մեր զրույցում Հայկազ Բաղմանյանի հայտարարությունը համարեց բարբաջանք: «Հայկազ Բաղմանյանը, եթե ինձ չի ճանաչում, ինչպե՞ս է ինձ դատի տվել տարիներ շարունակ»,- հակադարձեց գործարարը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայկազ Բաղմանյանին ճանաչել է տարիներ առաջ, նույնիսկ վերջինիս եղբոր հետ աշխատել է: Գազալցակայան կառուցելու միտքը, սակայն եղել է Թաթուլ Բաղդասարյանինը, որի համար դիմել է հենց գեներալին: Նրանք հանդիպել են նույնիսկ Գեղարքունիքի մարզում գտնվող զինվորական կորպուսներից մեկի տարածքում: «Ինքն այն ժամանակ ծառայում էր Կարճաղբյուրում: Առաջին անգամ հանդիպել ենք Երեւանի Մարիոթ հյուրանոցի դիմացի սրճարանում, իսկ դրանից հետո բազմաթիվ անգամ հանդիպել ենք կորպուսում, կորպուսի իր նստավայրում, իր կաբինետում եւ բանակցել ենք, զրուցել ենք, թե ում՝ ինչ է հասնում»,- պատմեց գործարարը՝ ընդգծելով, որ նույնիսկ հաշվապահական աշխատանքներն իրականացրել է նույն զորամասի հաշվապահ, կոչումով մայոր Մերուժը:
Գործարարի պնդմամբ՝ իր եւ Հայկազ Բաղմանյանի վերջին հանդիպումը եղել է 2008 թվականի մարտի 1-ին, որից հետո ո՛չ հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել, եւ ո՛չ էլ «տետ առ տետ» հանդիպում, սակայն գեներալը տարբեր ճանապարհներով փորձել է համոզել նրան ինչ-որ հայտարարի գալ»:
