Սաուդյան Արաբիան եւ Իրանը որեւէ համաձայնության չեն եկել Վիեննայում նավթի շուկայի շուրջ երկօրյա բանակցությունների ընթացքում, որը նրանք որոշել էին անցկացնել Ալժիրում ՕՊԵԿ երկրների հանդիպման նախաշեմին: Այս մասին հայտնում է «Բլումբերգ» գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով իրավիճակին ծանոթ երկու աղբյուրներին:

Գործակալության տեղեկություններով՝ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի եւ Իրանի  ՕՊԵԿ պատվիրակություններ ուրբաթ օրն արդեն ավարտել են բանակցությունները:

Աղբյուրների տեղեկություններով՝ Էր Ռիյադը Թեհրանին հայտնել է, որ պատրաստ է կրճատել նավթի արդյունահանման մակարդակը: Սակայն այդ դեպքում Իրանը պետք է իր արդյունահանման ծավալը սառեցնի ընթացիկ մակարդակի վրա՝ օրական 3,6 մլն բարել: Նշվում է, որ Վիեննայում հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաեւ այլ առաջարկներ, սակայն այդպես էլ համաձայնության չեն եկել

Հաջորդ շաբաթ Ալժիրում տեղի կունենա միջազգային էներգետիկ ֆորում, որի շրջանակներում ՕՊԵԿ-ը պլանավորում է ոչ պաշտոնական հանդիպում անցկացնել: Ինչպես ակնկալվում է, հանդիպմանը ՕՊԵԿ երկրների եւ նավթ արդյունահանող մյուս երկրների միջեւ կվերականգնվեն բանակցությունները նավթի արդյունահանման մակարդակի սառեցման շուրջ:

Գարնանը Դոհայում նույն հարցի շուրջ բանակցություններն անարդյունք էին ավարտվել, նաեւ ՕՊԵԿ ներսում առկա տարաձայնությունների եւ առաջին հերթին այս երկու երկրների դիրքորոշումների պատճառով:

Երբ Իրանը հրաժարվել էր մասնակցել հանդիպմանը, դա բացատրել էր հումքի արտադրության մինչպատժամիջոցային մակարդակին հասնելու եւ միայն դրանից հետո սառեցման հարցը քննարկելու ցանկությամբ: Միեւնույն ժամանակ, Սաուդյան Արաբիան ամենավերջին պահին հայտարարել էր, որ Իրանը պետք է մասնակցի հանդիպմանը, եւ համաձայնությունը պետք է ներառի նաեւ Իրանի պարտավորությունները:
