ՀՀ Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունն իր գործառույթներն իրականացնելիս բացահայտել է Հայաստանում մինչ օրս չարձանագրված անդրազգային նոր բնույթի հանցագործություն:

 Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԱԾ Մամուլի կենտրոնից, իրականացված օպերատիվ-հետախուզական համալիր միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ մի խումբ ՀՀ քաղաքացիներ, արտերկրում գտնվող իրենց հանցակիցների հետ նախնական պայմանավորվածությամբ, Հայաստան են տեղափոխել ինկասացիոն կամ բանկոմատային անվտանգության նպատակներով օգտագործվող հատուկ ներկերով ներկված և օրինական շրջանառությունից հանված եվրո թղթադրամներ: Հանցավոր խմբի անդամները նպատակ են ունեցել նշված թղթադրամները քիմիական մշակմամբ մաքրել հատուկ նե րկանյութից, դրանց հաղորդել հնամաշ տեսք և, քողարկելով օրինական շրջանառությունից հանված լինելու հանգամանքը, խաբեությամբ իրացնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում:

ՀՀ Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության աշխատակիցների կողմից ձեռնարկված կանխող և խափանող գործողությունների շնորհիվ խմբի անդամները չեն կարողացել ավարտին հասցնել իրենց հանցավոր մտադրությունը, իսկ օրինական շրջանառությունից հանված թղթադրամները հայտնաբերվել և առգրավվել են:

Հարուցված քրեական գործի շրջանակներում ձերբակալվել է երեք անձ: Իրականացվող նախաքննության ընթացքում միջոցներ են ձեռնարկվում հանցավոր խմբի ենթադրյալ այլ անդամներին պարզելու, ինչպես նաև նախկինում նման թղթադրամներ Հայաստան ներմուծելու և իրացնելու հնարավոր դեպքերը բացահայտելու համար:

Հանցագործության համար մեղադրվողը համարվում է անմեղ, քանիդեռ նրա մեղքն ապացուցված չէ օրենքով սահմանված կարգով՝դատարանի՝ օրինական ուժի մեջ մտած դատավճռով:
