Ստացվում է, որ ընդդիմությունը «ոչ հարմար կադրերի» հավաքատեղի է կամ պետք է լինի, իսկ կառավարությունը` հակառակը: Չի էլ քննարկվում այն հնարավորությունը, որ ընդդիմադիր «հարմար կադրը», հնարավոր է, ընդհանրապես չուզենա աշխատանքի տեղավորվել այն կառավարության ներքո, որի քաղաքականությանը նա ընդդիմանում է:
Ցավոք, Կարեն Կարապետյանը միայնակ չէ այս մտայնության մեջ: Շատերն են ընդդիմությունը ընկալում որպես աշխատանքի չտեղավորվածների հարթակ, իսկ ընդդիմադիր գործունեության նպատակը` աշխատանքի տեղավորվելը: Այդ թվում և առաջին հերթին այդպես են մտածում ընդդիմադիրների մեծագույն մասը` ճիշտ կլինի ասել բոլոր ընդդիմադիր ձևացողները:
