Ավտրիայում նախագահական ընտրությունների միասնական օր են նշանակել

Ավստրիայի խորհրդարականները պաշտոնապես ամրագրել են դեկտեմբերի 4-ը որպես երկրի նախագահական ընտրությունների նոր օր: Ընտրությունների անցկացման մասին 1971 թ. ընդունված օրենքում փոփոխություններ անելու մասին համապատասխան որոշումը ձայների մեծամասնությամբ հաստատվել է սեպտեմբերի 21-ին երկրի խորհրդարանի նիստում, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»:
Ավելի վաղ ՆԳՆ ղեկավար Վոլֆգանգ Սոբոտկան հայտնել էր, որ քվեաթերթիկների զանգվածային խոտանի պատճառով մինչ այդ նշանակված օրը՝ հոկտեմբերի 2-ին, ընտրություններ անցկացնելն անհնար է: Նա, որպես այն նախարարության ղեկավար, որը պատասխանատու է ընտրությունների անցկացման համար, առաջարկել է նոյեմբերի 27-ն ու դեկտեմբերի 4-ը որպես քվեարկության նոր օրեր: Հետո, խորհրդարանական կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպման մասնակիցները կանգ են առել դեկտեմբերի 4-ի վրա:
Այս տարվա գարնանը Ավստրիայում անցել են պետության նոր նախագահի ընտրությունների երկու փուլերը, որոնց արդյունքներով ՝ 0.6 տոկոսով առաջ անցելով աջ ազգայնական Ազատության կուսակցության թեկնածու Նորբերտ Հոֆերին, հաղթել էր Կանաչների նախկին առաջնորդ Ալեքսանդր Վան դեր Բելլենը: Նրա հաղթանակին օգնել էին հենց փոստային քվեարկությամբ ստացված ձայները, որոնք վերջին պահին են հաշվարկել՝ մինչ այդ ակնհայտ էր Հոֆերի հաղթանակը: Սակայն հետո Սահմանադրական դատարանը քվեաթերթիկների հաշվարկի ժամանակ խախտումների պատճառով չեղյալ էր ճանաչել քվեարկության արդյունքները, նշանակելով նոր փուլ ՝ նույն թեկնածուներով, որը պետք է հոկտեմբերի 2-ին անցներ: Սակայն անցած շաբաթ հայտնի է դարձել քվեաթերթիկների զանգվածային խոտանի մասին, ինչն էլ ընտրությունների հետաձգման պատճառ է դարձել:
