25 տարի առաջ այս օրը Խորհրդային Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները պատմական որոշում կայացրեցին` անկախությունը ընտրելով որպես միակ հնարավոր կարգավիճակ և երկրի հետագա զարգացման ուղի:
Հայաստանի Անկախության հռչակագիրն ընդունվեց 1990թ. օգոստոսի 23-ին Հայաստանի Գերագույն Խորհրդի առաջին նստաշրջանում: Խորհրդարանի որոշմամբ` 1991թ. սեպտեմբերի 21-ին անցկացվեց ԽՍՀՄ կազմից դուրս գալու և անկախ պետականություն հռչակելու մասին հանրաքվե: Խորհրդային Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների 94,99 տոկոսն «այո» ասաց Անկախությանը: Իրականացավ հայ ժողովրդի անկախություն ունենալու դարավոր երազանքը:
Եվ այսօր` 25 տարի անց, հայ ժողովուրդն աշխարհին շարունակում է ներկայանալ անկախ պետությամբ ու ազատ Արցախով:
Տոնին ընդառաջ BlogNews.am-ը շրջեց Երևանի փողոցներով և փորձեց զրուցել մեր համաքաղաքացիների հետ, հասկանալ բացարձակ անկախության մասին նրանց պատկերացումները և անկախ պետություն ունենալու նշանակությունը նրանց համար:
Պատկերը մի փորք մտահոգիչ էր: Բոլոր տարիքային խմբերում գտնվող մեր համաքաղաքացիներին մտահոգում էր մեր անկախության հետագա ճակատագիրը:
«Այն ժամանակ ավելի անկախ էինք, քան հիմա: Հիմա ի՞նչ անկախություն: Եթե մեր սահմանները միայն մեր զինվորները չեն պաշտպանում, եթե մեր գույքն ամբողջությամբ ուրիշ պետության սեփականություն է, անկախությունը կիսատ է դառնում»: 70 տ.
«Ինչքան էլ ասենք, որ մենք անկախ են, բայց միևնույն է մենք մասամբ ենք անկախ, ինչ-որ չափով կախված ենք այլ պետություններից: Օրինակ, ապրիլյան պատերազմը. մենք հաղթել են, բայց մեզ փորձում են այլ ելք պարտադրել, ու չհամաձայնվել էլ չենք կարող: Իրական անկախություն կլինի այն ժամանակ, երբ միայն հայ ժողովուրդը որոշի իր ճակատագիրն ու անելիքը»: 15 տ.
«Անկախությունն ինձ համար այն է, որ իմ երեխաները, իմ ընտանիքն ու հայ ազգը ապրի անհոգ, երջանիկ, և ամենակարևորը բարեկեցիկ ու պաշտպանված: Հիմա մենք բոլոր այս նշածները չունենք: Ունենք, բայց լիարժեք չէ»: 34 տ.
