Առնվազն 30 մարդ Է տուժել, եւս մեկն անհայտ կորել «Մալակաս» թայֆունի պատճառով, որն անցնում Է Ճապոնիայի կենտրոնական մասի վրայով, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: Ներկայում այն շարժվում Է դեպի հյուսիս - արեւելք՝ մայրաքաղաքի կողմը, վատ եղանակն իր անցած շրջաններում խախտել Է տրանսպորտային հաղորդակցությունը, հազարավոր մարդկանց հա նձնարարված Է տարահանվել հատուկ սարքավորված ապաստարաններ:
Ներկայում թայֆունի Էպիկենտրոնը գտնվում Է Աիտիի պերֆեկտուրայում: Տեղումների ինտենսիվությունը մոտենում Է վայրկյանում 100 միլիմետրի, իսկ քամու պոռթկումների արագությունը հասնում Է վայրկյանում 40 մետրի: Այս պատճառով երկրի կենտրոնական մասում խախտվել են ավիահաղորդակցությունը եւ երկաթուղային տրանսպորտի աշխատանքը: Ընդհանուր առմամբ չեղարկվել կամ հետաձգվել են ավելի քան 180 չվերթեր, շուրջ 14 գնացքներ չեն կարողացել մեկնել կայարաններից, արդ թվում՝ Տոկիո:
Ինչպես սպասվում Է, «Մալակաս» թայֆունը, որն այս տարի արդեն 16-րդն Է դարձել Խաղաղ օվկիանոսում, մայրաքաղաքի շրջան կհասնի սեպտեմբերի 21-ին, սակայն արդեն մի քանի ժամ Է, ինչ այնտեղ ուժգին անձրեւ Է տեղում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
