ԱՄՆ նախագահական ընտրություններում Դոնալդ Թրամփի հաղթանակն ու նրա արտաքին առեւտրում նրա խոստացած քաղաքականության իրականացումը կարող են հանգեցնել երկրում ռեցեսիայի, մասնավոր հատվածում շուրջ 5 մլն աշխատատեղի կորստի եւ սպառողական ապրանքների, այդ թվում՝ Apple-ի սմաթֆոնների դեֆիցիտի:
Թրամփը կարծում է, որ իր առաջարկած միջոցների իրականացումը կհանգեցնի ԱՄՆ-ի ՀՆԱ-ի աճի եւ 25 մլն նոր աշխատատեղերի ստեղծման: Նա մտադիր է կտրուկ նվազեցնել կորպորատիվ հարկերը, նաեւ ապրանքների ներկրման առեւտրային տուրքեր սահմանել, օրինակ, Չինաստանի եւ Մեքսիկայի համար (45% եւ 35%, համապատասխանաբար):
Ամերիկացիները կարող են բախվել ԱՄՆ-ում արտադրվող սպառողական ապրանքների դեֆիցիտի, որը կվերաբերի նաեւ iPhone-ին: Իսկ ԱՄՆ-ի զայրացած առեւտրային գործընկերների պատասխան միջոցառումները կհանգեցնեն երկրի տնտեսության երկամյա ռեցեսիայի, սպառողական եւ պետական ծախսերի անկման:
