Էջմիածնում այսօր քաղաքապետի թեժ ընտրություններ են սպասվում: Հատկապես սեպտեմբերի 16-ին երկու թեկնածուների՝ Կարեն Գրիգորյանի եւ Արթուր Թումանյանի միջեւ տեղի ունեցած միջադեպից հետո այստեղ ընտրություններն առավել հետաքրքիր են դարձել:

Նշենք, որ տեղի ունեցած միջադեպը երկու թեկնածուների համախոհների տարբեր կերպ են ներկայացնում: Ըստ Ա. Թումանյանի եւ նրա համակիրների, Կարեն Գրիգորյանն ու իր համախոհները առեւանգել էին իրենց աջակցող ավագանու անդամ Կիրակոս Բաժակյանին: Վերջինիս որոնելու ընթացքում էլ Թումանյանի եւ Աբգարյանի մեքենային հարվածել են Երեւան-Էջմիածին ավտոճանապարհին, որից հետո սկսել են դաժան ծեծել նրանց: Աբգարյանն ու Թումանյանը տեղափոխվել են հիվանդանոց: Կարեն Գրիգորյանի համախոհների պնդմամբ՝ Երեւան- Էջմիածին ավտոճանապարհին կրակել են Երեւանից վերադարձող Էջմիածնի գործող քաղաքապետ Կարեն Գրիգորյանի (ՀՀԿ-ական պատգամավոր գեներալ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի որդին է) մեքենայի ուղղությամբ: Մեքենայի մեջ եղել է Կարեն Գրիգորյանը՝ եղբոր՝ Արման Գրիգորյանի հետ: Նշվել է, որ կրակողները եղել են քաղաքապետի թեկնածու Արթուր Թումանյանն ու Էջմիածնի նախկին քաղաքապետ Հրաչիկ Աբգարյանի եղբորորդին: Ավելի ուշ նրանց միջեւ ծեծկռտուք է սկսվել, որի ժամանակ էլ տուժել են Թումանյանն ու Աբգարյանը:

Դեպքի առթիվ քրեական գործ է հարուցվել:

Հանրապետության մյուս քաղաքներում նույնպես հետաքրքիր ընտրություններ են սպասվում:Արարատի մարզի Մասիս քաղաքում միակ թեկնածուն գործարար Մհեր Համբարձումյանի՝ «Թույների Մհերի» որդին՝ ՀՀԿ-ական Դավիթ Համբարձումյանն է, թեեւ ի սկզբանե կար եւս երկու թեկնածու: Հետաքրքական է, որ Մասիսի գործող քաղաքապետ Սաշա Հակոբյանը չի առաջադրվել: Ենթադրվում է, որ նա իր տեղը զիջել է «Թույների Մհերի» որդուն:
Վեդիում նույնպես սպասվում է, որ գործող քաղաքապետը խնդիրներ չի ունենա, քանի որ նրա միակ մրցակիցը փոխքաղաքապետն է:

Տավուշի մարզի Նոյեմբերյան քաղաքում թեժ ընտրություններ են սպասվում: Այստեղ առաջադրվել է 7 թեկնածու՝ 4-ը իշխող «Հանրապետական» կուսակցությունից են՝ Բարեկամավանի գյուղապետ Գարիկ Աբազյանը, Նոյեմբերյանի գործող քաղաքապետ Վանուշ Ամիրաղյանը, «Գնորդ Լեւոն» ՍՊԸ տնօրեն Արթուր Անանյանը եւ Ոսկեպարի գյուղապետ Երվանդ Եգանյանը: ՀՀԿ-ն առաջադրել է Նոյեմբերյանի քաղաքապետին: Թեկնածուներից մեկը «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» կուսակցությունից է՝ Գարիկ Փիրումյանը, մյուս երկուսն անկուսակցական են՝ անհատ ձեռներեց Կարեն Աբազյանը եւ Սերյոժա Ամիրաղյանը: Հիշեցնենք, որ Նոյեմբերյանի տարածաշրջանի 19 համայնքները խոշորացման արդյունքում ձեւավորել են 3 համայնք: Նոյեմբերյան համայնքը միավորում է Նոյեմբերյան քաղաքը եւ սահմանամերձ Դովեղ, Ջուջեւան, Բաղանիս, Ոսկեպար, Ոսկեվան, Կոթի եւ Բարեկամավան համայնքները:

Սյունիքի մարզում ընտրություններ են ընթանում Գորիս, Քաջարան, Մեղրի քաղաքներում: Քաջարանում միակ թեկնածուն քաղաքապետարանի իրավաբան Մանվել Փարամազյանը: Նշենք, որ 14 տարի քաղաքապետ աշխատած Վարդան Գեւորգյանը չի առաջադրվել: Մեզ հետ զրույցում նա նշել էր, որ իր անձնական որոշումն է: Թե ինչու է նման որոշում կայացրել, պարզ չէ: 

Հիշեցնենք, որ սեպտեմբերի 18-ին ՏԻՄ ընտրություններ են Հանրապետության ավելի քան 300 համայնքներում:
