«Իմ եղբորորդին և Արթուր Թումանյանը այս պահին գտնվում են հիվանդանոցում, իսկ ոստիկանությունը մեր թաղամսում հսկողություն է իրականացնում, որ հանկարծ մեզ հետ բան չպատահի: Այս մասին քիչ առաջ ասաց Էջմիածնի նախկին քաղաքապետ Հրաչիկ Աբգարյանը՝ անդրադառնալով այսօր ուշ երեկոյան Էջմիածնում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ երեկ ժամը 23:30-ի ժամանակահատվածում Էջմիածնում տեղի է ունեցել արտակարգ դեպք: Կրակել են ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր, գեներալ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի որդու, Էջմիածնի գործող քաղաքապետ Կարեն Գրիգորյանի մեքենայի ուղղությամբ: Կարեն Գրիգորյանը այդ պահին եղել է մեքենայի մեջ:
Կրակոցները հնչել են «Վազ 21/06» մակնիշի մեքենայի մեջից, որի մեջ գտնվել է Էջմիածնի քաղաքապետի թեկնածու Արթուր Թումանյանը: Մեքենան պատկանում է Էջմիածնի նախկին քաղաքապետ Հրաչիկ Աբգարյանի եղբորորդուն՝ Ստեփան Աբգարյանին, որը ևս գտնվել է մեքենայի մեջ:
Ըստ Հրաչիկ Աբգարյանի՝ Էջմիածնում պարեկային ժամ է: Նա պնդում է, որ միջադեպը հրահրել են Կարեն Գրիգորյանն ու իր թիմակիցները.«Իրանք են էկել մեր թաղերը: Սա ազգիս վերջն ա, ազգիս խայտառակությունը: Վերջ»,-եզրափակեց Հրաչիկ Աբգարյանը:
Աբգարյանը հույս ունի, որ ոստիկանությունը օբյեկտիվ քննություն կիրականացնի, և իրական մեղավորները կպատժվեն:
