ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Աշոտ Ղուլյանը սեպտեմբերի 15-ին ընդունել  է  «Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ» կազմակերպության նորանշանակ տնօրեն  Դիոգո Պինտոյին և գլխավոր քարտուղար Հովհաննես Գրիգորյանին: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի մամուլի ծառայությունից:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ խորհրդարանի ղեկավարը շնորհավորել է Դիոգո Պինտոյին նոր պաշտոնի կապակցությամբ և հույս հայտնել, որ նախկինում կազմակերպության հետ ձեռք բերված համագործակցությունը շարունակական է լինելու և հաջողվելու է այդ ծրագրերի արդյունավետությունը ևս մեկ  աստիճանով բարձրացնել:

«Կազմակերպությունն ուրույն կապող օղակ է  Եվրոպայի հետ, հատկապես Արցախի պարագայում, երբ Ադրբեջանն ամեն կերպ փորձում է մեկուսացնել մեզ բոլոր քաղաքական գործընթացներից»,-նշել է Աշոտ Ղուլյանը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով խորհրդարանի նախագահին ընդունելության համար՝ Դիոգո Պինտոն նշել է, որ իր առաջին այցի նպատակը ճանաչողական է, որից հետո կներկայացվի համագործակցության հետագա ծրագիրը: Նա նաև հավելել է, որ իրենց խնդին է լինելու Արցախի դիրքորոշման մասին ազդակների թարգմանությունը եվրոպական հասարակության համար: 

«Մենք աշխատելու ենք թարմացված թիմով, նոր գաղափարներով և Ձեր աջակցությունը ստանալու պարագայում, համոզված եմ, կհասնենք հաջողության»,- ընդգծել է Դիոգո Պինտոն:

ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահը, ամփոփելով հանդիպումը, կարևորել է նորանշանակ տնօրենի կողմից ընտրած թիրախային ուղղությունները և վստահեցրել, որ կձեռնարկվեն բոլոր անհրաժեշտ քայլերը, որոնց միջոցով հնարավորություն կստեղծվի ընդլայնել և խորացնել համատեղ աշխատանքը:
