Հայաստանի կրթության եւ գիտության նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Լեւոն Մկրտչյանը եւ Վրաստանի կրթության եւ գիտության նախարար Ալեքսանդր Ջեջելավան Թբիլիսիում կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկել են համատեղ կրթական նախագծերի հեռանկարները: Կողմերն արծարծել են ներկայում Վրաստանում իրականացվող բարեփոխումներն ու նախագծերը, ինչպես նաեւ երկրնրի միջեւ կրթական փոխանակումների անհրաժեշտությունը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

«Հայաստանի հետ մեր գործընկերությունը, անտարակույս, շատ կարեւոր Է բոլոր ուղղություններում: Մենք նախարարի հետ խոսեցինք ինչպես ընդհանուր կրթության ուղղության ձեւավորման, այնպես Էլ բարձրագույն մասնագիտական կրթության եւ գիտության մասին: Հայաստանը, ինչպես եւ Վրաստանը, ընդգրկված Է Բոլոնյան գործընթացում եւ կրթական համակարգի առումով Եվրոպայի հետ ինտեգրացման գործընթացներում, ուստի մեր երկրները կարող են համատեղ շատ բան անել»,-հայտարարել Է Ջեջելավան:  

Մկրտչյանը շնորհակալություն Է հայտնել Ջեջելավային ջերմ ընդունելության համար եւ վստահություն հայտնել, որ մոտ ապագայում կկայանա վրացական պատվիրակության պատասխան այցը Հայաստան: «Մենք խոսեցինք աշխատանքային խմբերի ստեղծման մասին: Կստեղծենք, հավանաբար, երեք աշխատանքային խումբ, որոնք կաշխատեն միջնակարգ եւ ընդհանուր կրթության, գիտության եւ բարձրագույն կրթության ուղղությամբ, որովհետեւ այն խնդիրները, որոնք ծառացած են մեր պետությունների առջեւ, ընդհանուր են: Այնուամենայնիվ, Հարավային Կովկասը միասնական տնտեսական գոտի Է, մենթալիտետը եւ ժղովուրդների ընկալումը նույնպես միանման են»,-ընդգծել Է Մկրտչյանը:   

Հայաստանի կառավարական պատվիրակության՝ Վրաստան աշխատանքային այցի ընթացքում, սեպտեմբերի 13-ին, Լեւոն Մկրտչյանը հանդիպում Է ունեցել Վրաստանի տեխնիկական համալսարանի ռեկտոր Արչիլ Փրանգիշվիլիի, ինչպես նաեւ Հայաստանում Վրաստանի դեսպան Գեորգի Սաղանելիձեի հետ, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
