Թուրքիայում 89 տարեկան հասակում մահացել է «Ալարկո» հոլդինգի նախագահ Իսհաք Ալաթոնը։
Հրեական արմատներով խոշոր թուրք գործարարը հայտնի էր պետությանն ուղղված բաց նամակով, որում կոչ էր անում ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը։
«90 տարի մենք բազմաթիվ մեղքեր ենք գործել։ Կմախքները լցրել ենք պահարանները եւ փակել դռները։ 90 տարի է՝ աշխարհին կույր ենք ասում։ Վախենում ենք առերեսվել։ Մեզ սովորեցրել են վախենալ։ Կմախքները պահարաններում փտում են, իսկ դրանց հոտն արդեն անտանելի է դարձել։ Ես արդեն չեմ կարողանում շնչել, իսկ դո՞ւք: Եկեք մենք էլ մեր ձայնը լսելի դարձնենք Անկարայի մեր պատգամավորներին։ Պատգամավորներն էլ թող այն լսելի դարձնեն իրենց կուսակցությունների ղեկավարներին։ Թող օգնեն, որ կարողանանք բացել կմախքներով լեցուն մեր պահարանները։ Մեզ հարիր հուղարկավորության միջոցառումներց հետո մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցենք եւ մաքրենք մեր մեղքերը», ասել էր Ալաթոնը։
Իսհաք Ալաթոնը միակ թուրք գործարարն է, ով հրապարակավ թուրքական իշխանություններին կոչ էր արել ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, ներողություն խնդրել եւ հարգելի զոհվածների հիշատակը։
