Մարդկության՝ որպես ցեղատեսակ կայացման և զարգացման առաջին քայլերին համընթաց մենք հիացել են բնության հրաշքներով, մասնավորապես՝ աստղերով։
Ընդունելով այդ հիացմունքը և հետաքրքրությունը որպես հիմք, մարդիկ ստեղծել են գիտության ճյողեր, որոնք ուսումնասիրում են տիեզերքը և աստղերը։ Տեխնոլոգիական զրագացումների շնորհիվ մարդիկ կարողացել են տեսնել մեր մթնոլորտից հազարավոր կիլոմետրեր հեռու գտնվող օբյեկտները, ճանապարհորդել երկրի շուրջ և վերջապես՝ դուրս գալ բաց տիեզերք և վայրեջք կատարել Լուսնի վրա։
Սակայն սույն ոլորտում կատարված հայտնագործություններից որոշները հիմնվում են ոչ թե մարդու, այլ պոտենցիալ այլմոլորակայինների գործունեության վրա։ 1950 –ական թվականներին աստղադիտակները ֆիքսել են մի օբյեկտ՝ «Սև Ասպետ» անվանմամբ, որը անհասկանալի ծագում ունի և անհասկանալիորեն պտտվում է Երկիր մոլորակի ուղեծրում։
Այդ տարիներին մարդիկ ամեն պահի սպասում էին այլմոլորակայինների այցին, այդ իսկ պատճառով այս բացահայտումը իսկական ցնցում առաջացեց Երկրի ինտելեկտուալ հասարակության շրջանակներում։
Այսօր կան շատ տեսություններ, որոնք փորձում են բացատրել այս տարօրինակ արբանյակի ծագումը։ Որոշները պնդում են որ դա ուղղակի ինչ –որ բանի բեկոր է, որը հայտնվել է Երկիր մոլորակի ձգողականության ուժի ազդեցության մեջ, որոշները պնդում են, որ դա ուղղակի հալյուցինացիա է, իսկ որոշները համոզված են, որ դա այլմոլորակային ծագում ունեցեղ օբյեկտ է։ Մինչև օրս միայն մեկ դեպք կա գրանցված, որտեղ նշվում է մարդու և այլմոլորակայինի կոնտակտի մասին, սակայն այդտեղ ամեն ինչ բացատրվել է հալյուցինացիայն ազդեցությամբ՝ ամբողջ պատմությունը բադելով օդաչուի երևակայության վրա և ասելով, որ դա ուղղակի բեկոր է եղել։ Իսկ թե ի՞նչ է այդ առեղծվածային արբանյակը իրականում՝ չգիտի ոչ ոք։
