ՄԱԿ-ում բացվում Է Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանը

ՄԱԿ-ի Նյորքի կենտրոնակայանում աշխատանքն Է սկսում համաշխարհային կազմակերպության Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, բացման պաշտոնական արարողությանը , որը պլանավորված Է Երեւանի ժամանակով ժամը 23:00-ին, կմասնակցեն ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ 193 երկրների պատվիրակությունները, նրա գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գ ի Մունը եւ ԳԱ-ի 71-րդ նստաշրջանի նախագահ, Ֆիջիի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Փիթեր Թոմսոնը:
Մինչ այդ ՄԱԿ-ում կկայանա Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 70-րդ նստաշրջանի փակման արարողությունը:
Ընդամենը Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանի օրակարգում տեղ Է գտել 170 թեմա, այդ թվում՝ խաղաղության եւ անվտանգության պահպանման, ահաբեկչությանը, ռասսայական խտրականությանը եւ այլատեցությանը հակազդման, շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության եւ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերը: Նաեւ կշարունակվի ՄԱԿ-ի, այդ թվում՝ Անվտանգության խորհրդի բարեփոխման քննարկումը:
Նստաշրջանի օրացույցի առաջին խոշոր իրադարձությունը կդառնա զանգվածային գաղթի խնդիրների շուրջ բարձր մակարդակի նիստը, որը տեղի կունենա սեպտեմբերի 19-ին: Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի հարթակում նման հանդիպում առաջին անգամ Է անցկացվում, դրա անհրաժեշտությունը թելադրված Է Եվրոպայում եւ աշխարհի այլ մասերում տրող իրադրությամբ:
Սեպտեմբերի 20-ին Նյու Յորքում ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի նախագահությամբ կկայանա երկրների ղեկավարների գագաթնաժողովը՝ նվիրված փախստականնների հարցերին: Հանդիպմանը երկրներին կառաջարվի ստանձնել փախստականների ընդունման նոր պարտավորություններ:
Նույն օրը ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանում կսկսվի ընդհանուր քաղաքական բանավեճը, որին կմասնակցեն պետությունների ու կառավարությունների շուրջ 150 ղեկավարներ, ինչպես նաեւ արտաքին գործերի 30-ից ավելի նախարարներ: Մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում նրանք կարծիքներ կփոխանակեն աշխարհի ընթացիկ իրադրության շուրջ՝ ուշադրությունը դարձնելովմարդկության առջեւ ծառացած հիմնական մարտահրավերների վրա:
