Արամ Ա-ն առանձնացրել է Միջին Արևելքի եկեղեցիների առաջնահերթ անելիքները

Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոս Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Առաջինը ելույթ է ունեցել Միջին Արևելքի եկեղեցիների խորհրդի 11-րդ համաժողովում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, իր ելույթում Վեհափառ Հայրապետն ընդգծել է, որ Միջին Արևելքը ոչ միայն քրիստոնեության ծննդաայրն է, այլ նաև նրա մշակույթի, քաղաքակրթության և պատմության մեջ կարևոր ներդրում է ունեցել:
Նորին Սրբությունն իր ելույթն սկսել է երկու կարևոր հաստատում կատարելով: «Առաջին` Քրիստոնեությունը Միջին Արևելքի անբաժանելի մասն է: Եկեղեցին անցյալի արժեքների և ավանդույթների թանգարանը չէ, այլ կենդանի ներկայությունն է Միջին Արևելքի հանրության գործունեության բոլոր բնագավառներում: Երկրորդ` հակառակ տագնապներին և մարտահրավերներին, Քրիստոնեությունը վճռել է մնալ շրջանի ներսում: Սա է Միջին Արևելքի բոլոր եկեղեցիների հավաքական դիրքորոշումը, և այդ դիրքորոշումը կիսում են նաև մեր մահմեդական դրացիներն ու համաքաղաքացի ներ»:
Վեհափառ Հայրապետը Միջին Արևելքում ստեղծված իրավիճակի ընդհանուր վերլուծություն է կատարել, անդրադարձել է վերջերս քրիստոնյա համայնքների դիմագրաված տնտեսական դժվարություններին ու արտագաղթին: Արամ Ա-ն 8 կետ է առանձնացրել` որպես եկեղեցիների առջև դրված առաջնահերթ խնդիր: «Առաջին` քրիստոնյա համայնքները պետք է մասնակից դառնան ժողովրդավարական սկզբունքներ հաստատելու ձգտող բոլոր շարժումներին ու ծրագրերին: Երկրորդ` քրիստոնյա համայնքները, իրենց պարտավորությունները կատարելու հետ մեկտեղ, պետք է տեր կանգնեն իրենց իրվունքներին` որպես լիիրավ քաղաքացիներ: Երրորդ` երեք միաստված կրոնները պետք է որդեգրեն միասնական կեցվածք հանրությանը հուզող ընդհանրական հարցերի նկատմամբ: Չորրորդ` անհրաժեշտ է քրիստոնեական միությանը շոշափելի արտահայտություն տալ: Հինգերորդ` Եկեղեցու բարեկարգությունը հրամայական է` հատկապես ստեղծված նոր պայմանների լույսի տակ: Վեցերորդ` անհրաժեշտ է ավելի ամրապնդել արևմտյան եկեղեցիների հետ համագործակցությունը: Յոթերորդ` եկեղեցիները իրենց սփյուռքի համայնքների հետ պետք է ունենան ավելի հետևողական և արդյունավետ գործակցություն: ՈւթÕ �րորդ` Միջին Արևելքի եկեղեցիների խորհրդի վերակազմակերպումն անհետաձգելի անհրաժեշտություն է»,- իր ելույթում ասել է Արամ Ա-ն:
