Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ  Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի նախագահությամբ Ստեփանակերտում իր աշխատանքը սկսել է  Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի հերթական ժողովը։

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից, ժողովի բացմանը ԳՀԽ հոգևորական և աշխարհական անդամներին հայրապետական իր օրհնությունն ու պատգամն է բերել Նորին Սրբությունը՝ մասնավոր իր գնահատանքը փոխանցելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանին և Արցախի թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ․ Պարգև արքեպիսկոպոս Մարտիրոսյանին Արցախի 25-ամյակի տոնախմբման այս օրերին ԳՀԽ ժողովն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում անցկացնելու հրավերի համար։ Նորին Սրբությունը կարևորել է ԳՀԽ ժողովների պարբերակն գումարումը հայոց տարբեր թեմերում, ինչը խանդավառություն և հոգևոր կյանքի զորացման մեծ խթան է համայնքների համար։

«Արցախ աշխարհ այս այցը ուխտագնացություն է մեզ համար․ մի հող, ուր ամփոփված են մեր նախնյաց հիշատակները, որտեղ գտնվում են բազում սրբավայրեր։ Եկել ենք մեր խոնարհումը բերելու, ծնրադրելու նվիրական այդ սրբավայրերում և մեր աղոթքն առ Աստված բարձրացնելու Արցախի ապահովության և արցախահայության բարօր կյանքի համար», - ասել է Գարեգին Բ Հայրապետը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայոց Եկեղեցին իր աշխարհասփյուռ թեմերով ու համայնքներով միշտ եղել և մնում է արցախահայության կողքին, աջակից և զորակից Արցախին՝ իր արդար իրավունքների պաշտպանության գործում։

Այս կապակցությամբ Նորին Սրբությունը տեղեկացրել է, որ այցի առիթով Ս․ Էջմիածնի և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսության թեմերի անունից Մայր Աթոռը վերստին հինգ հարյուր հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար գումար է փոխանցում Արցախին` արցախահայության կարիքների համար։

Հայոց Հայրապետն աղոթքով մաղթել է, որ Աստված Իր Ս․ Աջի հովանու ներքո խաղաղության մեջ պահի Արցախ աշխարհը և բարօր ու անվրդով կյանք պարգևի նրա քաջարի ժողովրդին։

Անդրադառնալով ժողովի օրակարգին՝ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նշել է, որ քննարկվելիք խնդիրները մեծ կարևորություն ունեն Հայոց Եկեղեցու ժողովական կառույցների գործունեության կանոնակարգման, Եկեղեցու առաքելության արդյունավետ կազմակերպման և առաջընթացի համար։ Այս առիթով Վեհափառ Հայրապետն իր գնահատանքն է հայտնել ԳՀԽ անդամներին իրենց նվիրումի և հանձնառության համար՝ արդյունավետ աշխատանք մաղթելով ԳՀԽ ժողովին։

Մինչ օրակարգի հարցերի քննությունը ժողովականներն աղոթք են բարձրացրել Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի վաղամեռիկ անդամ տիար Ալբերտո Ճերեճյանի (Արգենտինա) հոգու հանգստության համար։

Եռօրյա ժողովի ընթացքում կքննարկվեն Ազգային-եկեղեցական ժողովի, Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի կանոնադրությունների մշակման, Եկեղեցական-ներկայացուցչական ժողովի կանոնադրության լրամշակման ընթացքին վերաբերող հարցեր, կներկայացվեն զեկույցներ եկեղեցական կառույցների և թեմերի գործունեության առնչությամբ։
