Ամբողջ աշխարհում գրեթե 50 միլիոն երեխաներ են հարկադրված եղել լքելու տները հակամարտությունների եւ այլ աղետների պատճառով՝ դառնալով ներքին տեղահանվածներ, փախստականներ կամ միգրանտներ: Այս տվյալները, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, բովանդակում Է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի (ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ)՝ սեպտեմբերի 7-ին հրապարակված զեկույցը:
Զեկույցի տվյալներով՝ «28 միլիոն երեխաներ ստիպված են եղել լքել իրենց տները՝ փախչելով բռնությունից եւ հակամարտություններից»: Այդ թվի մեջ ներառված են 10 միլիոն փախստականներ, մեկ միլիոն մարդ, որն ապաստան ստանալու Է սպասում այլ երկրներում, ինչպես նաեւ 17 միլիոն երեխաներ, որոնք ներքին տեղահանվածներ են: Ի լրումն դրա 20 միլիոն երեխաներ լքել են իրենց երկրները որպես միգրանտներ՝ ինչպես ծնողների ուղեկցությամբ, այնպես Էլ միայնակ:
Ինչպես հետեւում Է զեկույցից, ավելի ու ավելի շատ երեխաներ են հատում սահմանն առանց չափահասների ուղեկցության: «2015 թվականին 100 հազարից ավելի երեխաներ առանց խնամակալի ապաստան ստանալու հարցում են տվել 78 երկրներում: Դա եռակի ավելի Է, քան 2014 թվականին»,- ընդգծում են ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
