Իոսիֆ Ստալինը խորհրդային պատմության ամենաոչ միանշանակ անձանցից է: Մարդկանց մի մասը գնահատում է նրա ավանդը Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակի հարցում, մյուսները՝ հիշում սարսափելի բռնաճնշումները:

Ծննդյան տարեթիվ
Իոսիֆ Վիսարիոնովիչ Ստալինը փոխեց իր ծննդյան թվականը դեկտեմբերի 18-ից 21-ի,երբ օկուլտիստ Գուրջիևն ասաց նրան, որ նման թվով նա առաջնորդ չի դառնա:

Արտաքին յուրահատկությունները
Ստալինն ուներ որոշակի ֆիզիկական արատներ՝ ձախ ոտքին՝ երկու սերտաճած մատ ու ցանապատ երես: Փոքր հասակում նա ընկել էր փայտոնի տակ ու լրջորեն վնասել ոտքերն ու ձեռքերը: Այդ պատճառով նրա ձախ ձեռքը ավելի կարճ էր, քան աջը: Նա ուներ 160 սմ հասակ:

Իր նկատմամբ նա իսկական ասկետ էր: Նրա զգեստապահարանն ավելի, քան համեստ էր, իսկ անձնական իրերը կրում էր մինչև մաշվելը: Երբ նրա մահից հետո ցուցակագրում էին նրա գույքը, բացի ճտքավոր կոշիկներից կար ընդամենը մեկ զույգ կոշիկ ու երկու զույգ վալենկա:

Դուրս գալով ամառանոցից՝ նա միշտ իր հետ կրում էր լիցքավորված ատրճանակ: Հենց այդ պատճառով նրա կիտելը գաղտնի գրպան ուներ, որտեղ պահվում էր ատրճանակը: Տուն վերադառնալիս Ստալինը ատրճանակը պահում էր դարակում:

Ստալինի սիրելի հողաթափերը
Ասում են՝ Ստալինը երբեք չէր բաժանվում իր հողաթափերից: Նա դրանք տանում էր իր հետ բոլոր ուղևորություններին: 1945թ• դեկտեմբերին, երբ Ստալինը Սոչիից վերադառնում էր Մոսկվա,մոռացել էին նրա ուղեբեռում դնել հողաթափերը: Հենց դա պարզվեց, հողաթափերը Մոսկվա ուղարկեցին ինքնաթիռով:

Ստալինն ուներ ավելի քան 3 հազար սկավառակ

1953թ• Վոլինսկի պետական առանձնատանը հավաքվել էր ավելի քան 3 հազար սկավառակ: Դրանք Լենինի, Ստալինի ելույթներն էին, տարբեր երկրների հիմները, օպերաներ, սիմֆոնիկ երաժշտություն, բալետ, կամերային ու պարային երաժշտություն: Այն ձայնասկավառակների վրա, որոնք դուր էին գալիս իրեն, Ստալինը խաչ էր անում:

Ստալինի գրադարանը

Մինչպատերազմյան կրեմլյան գրադարանում կար մի քանի տասնյակ հազար հատոր գիրք: Նրա մահից հետո գրքերը փոխանցվել էին Մարքսիզմ-լենինիզմի ինստիտուտին՝ ավելի քան 5,5 հազար հատոր:
