Վարվեցողության կանոնները, բազմաթիվ երևույթներ տարբեր ժամանակներում ընկալվել են տարբեր կերպ: Այն, ինչ այժմ շատ սովորական է և ընդունելի, նախկինում եղել է անպարկեշտ և արժանացել պարսավանքի: Եվ հակառակը, այժմ չխրախուսվող շատ բաներ նախկինում հարգի էին:

  • 19-րդ դարում ընդունելության ժամանակ եթե տղամարդը նույն կնոջ հետ երեք անգամից շատ էր պարում, անպարկեշտություն էր: Համաձայն կանոնների` երկրորդ պարից հետո ասպետը պարտավոր էր հայտարարել նշանադրության մասին:
  • ԱՄՆ-ում ընդունված չէր հայելու մեջ նայել կամ դիմահարդարումն ուղղել ուրիշների ներկայությամբ:
  • Նախկինում ձեռնոցը համարվում էր «տնային» պարագա: Հակառակ այն բանին, որ ձեռնոցը խիստ կիրառելի էր, այն մարդկանց մեջ կրելն անթույլատրելի էր համարվում:
  • 20-րդ դարի 20-ականներին Ռուսաստանի դպրոցներում ճիշտ գրելն անպարկեշտ էր համարվում: Ուղղագրության համար կարող էին անգամ «գործ տալ»:
  • Անգլիայում հանրային վայրում` մարդկանց աչքի առջև ձեռագործ անելն անթույլատրելի էր, կարուձևը՝ ընդունված: Հետաքրքրական է, որ այսօր այդ երկրում կարուձևով են տարված հիմնականում տղամարդիկ:
  • Ռուսաստանում 19-րդ դարից մինչև 20-րդ դարերի սկիզբը հողատարածքը պետք է լիներ ոչ պակաս, քան 140 – 12 հա: Դրանից պակաս հողատարածք գնելն անպարկեշտ էր համարվում:
  • Ռուս բոյարներն անթույլատրելի էին համարում խոսել մեկի հետ, ով իրենց առջև կիսաշրջված էր կանգնած: Ընդունված չէր նաև ուշադիր զննել սենյակ մտնողներին, դա կարող էր հյուրին վատ վիճակի մեջ դնել:
  • Թայլանդում որևէ մեկի ուսին թփթփացնելը կամ գլխին դիպչելը զրուցելու ժամանակ համարվում է քնքշանք, այդ ամենն այլոց ներկայությամբ՝ անպարկեշտություն:
  • Ճապոնիայում թեյախմության ժամանակ բոլորը պարտավոր են նստել իրենց ծնկների վրա: Ոտքերը խաչել կամ մեկնել հյուրերից մեկի, առավել ևս՝ տանտիրոջ ուղղությամբ, ոչ միայն անպարկեշտ է, այլև՝ անթույլատրելի:
  • Երկար ժամանակ Բուլղարիայում տղամարդկանց համար ամոթ էր մեկուկես լիտրից պակաս գինի խմելը: Քանի որ գինին Բուլղարիայում թանկ չէր, դրա չափավոր օգտագործումն ընդունված էր համարել անհյուրընկալ պահվածք:
