Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանում ցուցադրվելու է հայազգի ռեժիսորի Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին ֆիլմը

Սեպտեմբերի 1-ին Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանի հայագիտության ինստիտուտը Կինոարվեստի դպրոցի հետ համատեղ Լոս Անջելեսում կկազմակերպի ռեժիսոր Էրիկ Նազարյանի եւ սցենարիստ Նարե Մկրտչյանի «Տան մյուս կողմը» ֆիլմը Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ:
Ինստիտուտի ղեկավար Սալփի Ղազարյանի խոսքով` ցեղասպանությունից հետո փրկված հայերից շատերը, ովքեր մնացել էին Թուրքիայում, ձեռք են բերել նոր ինքնություն երբեմն իրենց կամքով, իսկ հաճախ` ոչ:
«Նրանք թաքնված հայեր էին, գիտեին` ովքեր են իրենք, սակայն երբ ցեղասպանության սերունդը անհետացավ, երրորդ կամ չորրորդ սերունդները, ովքեր աստիճանաբար բացահայտեցին իրենց արմատները, ցնցվում էին եւ պատրաստ չէին երրորդ ինքնության: Այս ֆիլմը այդ դժվար անցումային շրջանի մասին է»,- ասել է ինստիտուտի ղեկավարը:
«Տան մյուս կողմը» փաստագրական ֆիլմը մի պատմություն է հայ ռեժիսորի և թուրք կնոջ՝ Ցեղասպանության 100-ամյա տարելիցի նախօրեին տեղի ունեցած մի ճամփորդության մասին դեպի Հայաստան և Թուրքիա: Նարե Մկրտչյանի թրքուհի հերոսուհին, որ համարձակություն է ունեցել Ցեղասպանության 100-ամյակի տարելիցին նախորդած օրերին գնալ Երևան, իր ողջ կյանքն ապրել է որպես թրքուհի, մինչ այն պահը, երբ իմացել է, որ իր մեծ մայրը հայուհի է: Նա թաքցրել է իր ինքնությունը, բայց նրա ներսում միշտ կռվել են Ցեղասպանություն ապրածն ու Ցեղասպանություն ժխտողը: Նա խոր ապրումներով և հ ակասական հույզերով բարձրանում է Ծիծեռնակաբերդ: Հայկական արմատներով թրքուհուն հետևում է հայ ռեժիսորը, ով ծնվել է Ցեղասպանությունից շատ հետո, Ցեղասպանությունը վերապրածների գերդաստանում: Նա նույնպես իր հակասական զգացումներն ունի, իր պայքարը ներսում:
Էրիկ Նազարյանը ծնվել է Հայաստանում, սակայն մեծացել Լոս Անջելեսում: Նա համալսարանի Կինոարվեստի դպրոցի շրջանավարտ է: Դասախոսություններ է կարդացել Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ Եվրոպայի եւ ԱՄՆ համալսարաններում: Ռեժիսոր Նարե Մկրտչյանը նույնպես բնակվում է Լոս Անջելեսում եւ Կինոարվեստի դպրոցի շրջանավարտ է: Նրա տարերքն է պատմել մարդկային եզակի պատմություններ, որոնք կապում են մարդկանց իրար`չճանաչելով ազգային, կրոնական եւ այլ սահմաններ:
