Ուզբեկստանի նախագահ Իսլամ Քարիմովը ուղեղի արյան զեղում Է տարել, նա վերակենդանացման բաժանմունքում Է, վիճակը կայուն Է: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է պետության ղեկավարի դուստրը՝ Լոլա Քարիմովա-Տիլյաեւան իր Instagram-ում:
«Ուղեղի արյան զեղման պատճառով, որը տեղի Է ունեցել օգոստոսի 27-ի առավոտյան, նա հոսպիտալացվել Է եւ գտնվում Է վերակենդանացման բաժանմունքում: Նրա վիճակը գնահատվում Է կայուն»,-գրում Է Քարիմովա-Տիլյաեւան:
Նրա խոսքով՝ «ներկա պահին դեռ վաղ Է որեւԷ կանխատեսում անել նրա ապագա վիճակի վերաբերյալ»:
Ավելի վաղ տարածվել Է Ուզբեկստանի կառավարության պաշտոնական հայտարարությունը, որում ասված Է, որ Ուզբեկստանի նախագահ Իսլամ Քարիմովը գտնվում է հիվանդանոցում: «Մասնագետների կարծիքով՝ ամբողջական բժշկական հետազոտությունը եւ հետագա բուժումը որոշակի ժամանակ կպահանջի»,- նշվում է նախարարների կաբինետի հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Իսլամ Քարիմովն Ուզբեկստանը գլխավորել է 1989 թվականին՝ զբաղեցնելով Ուզբեկստանի կոմկուսի Կենտկոմի առաջին քարտուղարի պաշտոնը: Նա երկրի նախագահ է ընտրվել 1990 թվականի մարտի 24-ին Ուզբեկական ԽՍՀ-ի Գերագույն խորհրդի նստաշրջանում:
Ավելի ուշ նա հաղթանակ է տարել 1991 թվականի համաժողովրդական ընտրություններում եւ այն ժամանակվանից անփոփոխ կերպով զբաղեցնում է նախագահի պաշտոնը: 2002 թվականի փետրվարի 27-ին կայացած հանրաքվեի ընթացքում որոշում է ընդունվել նախագահի լիազորությունների ժամկետը 5-ից երկարացնել մինչեւ 7 տարի, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
