Միացյալ Նահանգների կինոակադեմիան հայտարարել Է համաշխարհային կինեմատոգրաֆի բնագավառում ներդրած ավանդի եւ հումանիզմի համար հատուկ մրցանակների երեք դափնեկիրների անունները, որոնք պարգեւները կստանան նոյեմբերին պարգեւատրման արարողության ժամանակ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:

Կինեմատոգրաֆի բնագավառում ակնառու վաստակի համար ակադեմիայի պատվավոր պարգեւը շնորհվել Է ամերիկացի 85-ամյա դերասանուհի Ջինա Ռոուլենդսին, որը հայտնի Է առավելապես «Գլորիա» եւ «Կինն ազդեցության տակ» ֆիլմերից, ինչպես նաեւ 58-ամյա ռեժիսոր Սփայք Լիին («Արա՛ ինչպես հարկն Է», «Մալքոլմ Իքս»):

Հումանիզմի գործում անհատական ավանդի համար Ջին Հերշոլթի անվան պարգեւը կշնորհվի ամերիկացի 83-ամյա դերասանուհի եւ երգչուհի Դեբի Ռեյնոլդսին, որին հռչակ Է բերել գլխավոր դերը 1952 թվականի «Անձրեւի տակ երգողները» երաժշտական ֆիլմում: Ռեյնոլդսն իրեն նվիրել Է հասարակական գործունեության՝ հանդես գալով հոգեկան հիվանդությունների մասին իրազեկվածությունն ընդլայնելու օգտին:

Կինեմատոգրաֆի բնագավառում ակնառու վաստակի համար ակադեմիայի պատվավոր պարգեւը սահմանվել Է 1948 թվականին: Դափնեկիրներին ընտրում են կինոակադեմիայի կառավարիչների խորհրդի որոշմամբ, այլ ոչ թե բոլոր ակադեմիկոսների կողմից, ինչպես դա տեղի Է ունենում այլ անվանակարգերում «Օսկար» մրցանակների շնորհման դեպքում:

Անցյալ տարի կինոակադեմիայի պատվավոր պարգեւներն ստացել են ճապոնացի ռեժիսոր-անիմատոր Հայաո Միյաձակին, իռլանդացի դերասանուհի եւ երգչուհի Մորին Օ’Հարան եւ ֆրանսիացի սցենարիստ Ժան Կլոդ Կարիերը:

Այս տարի մրցանակի դափնեկիրների պարգեւատրման արարողությունը տեղի կունենա նոյեմբերի 14-ին:
