«Նորաձևությամբ հետաքրքրվել եմ մանկուց: Փոքր էի, որ մտերիմներիս, ընկերուհիներիս խորհուրդներ էի տալիս ինչ հագնել, ինչ աքսեսուարներ կրել: Մայրս միշտ բարկանում էր, քանի որ դպրոցական տետրերիս միայն առաջին էջերն էին համապատասխանում տվյալ առարկային, մնացած էջերում կարելի էր հանդիպել հագուստների զանազան գծագրերի, Էսքիզների»,- պատմում է երիտասարդ դիզայներ Կարեն Գիշյանը:
Կարենը իրեն փորձել է դիզայնի տարբեր բնագավառներում՝ կոլաժների պատրաստում, ինտերիերի ձևավորում, վենեցիական դիմակների, թիթեռնիկ փողկապների պատրաստում…
«Մի անգամ թիթեռնիկ փողկապների համար գնված կտորը վերածվեց մանկական հագուստի և այդպես ծնվեց սեփական արտադրանքը ներկայացնելու գաղափարը: Ես չեմ ստացել դիզայների-մոդելավորողի կրթություն, ոչ էլ կարուձևի եմ հաճախել, ինձ համար ուսուցման աղբյուր է եղել ինտերնետը: Ես կարծում եմ, որ դիզայներությունը ներսումս է: »:
«Ամենից շատը սիրում եմ հարսի զգեստ ստեղծել, այն կարելու ժամանակ մի ուրիշ աշխարհ եմ տեղափոխվում: Պատասխանատու գործ է. յուրաքանչյուր հարս իր ինքնատիպությամբ պետք է տարբերվի մնացածից, և յուրաքանչյուր զգեստ պետք է յուրօրինակ լինի: Միայն հագուստը բավարար չէ, պետք է նաև ունենալ համապատասխան աքսեսուարներ՝ գլխազարդ, քող, ձեռնոց և այլն»,-լրացնում է Կարենը:
Կարենն իր հավաքածուն հանրությանն է ներկայացրել առաջին հայկական նորաձևության ցուցադրության ժամանակ.
«Տարիներ շարունակ երազել եմ սեփական հավաքածուն ստեղծելու գաղափարի մասին, վերջապես այս տարի կարողացա իրականացնել այն: Հավաքածուն կոչվում է "Odeur De Fleur" կամ «Ծաղկային բույր», որը ներկայացնում է 7 զգեստ: Պատրաստելու ընթացքում կիրառվել եմ ծաղկային տարրեր, հուլունքներ, սվարովսկի բյուրեղներ, օգտագործել եմ ծաղկային դաջվածքներով կտորներ: Զգեստներից մեկը զարդարված է 1700-ից ավելի ծաղիկներով ու Swarovsky բյուրեղներով, այն պատրաստելու համար զբաղվել եմ 4 ամիս: Հավաքածուն հանրությանն եմ ներկայացրել «Arm mod fashion» նորաձևության ցուցադրության ժամանակ»:
Դիզայներն ասում է, որ հագուստի մոդելավորման և պատրաստման մեջ ամենադժվարը սեփական մտքերը վերարտադրելն է ու դրանք քմահաճ հաճախորդին ներկայացնելը, ինչպես նաև նրանց սպասելիքներն արդարացնելը.
«Դիզայներ-մոդելավորողը պետք է ներկայացնի իր մտքերն ու գաղափարները, եթե ունես սեփական միտք, սեփական երևակայություն, քեզ ոչ մի բան չի կարող խանգարել»:
