ԱՄՆ-ի Դեյվիս բժշկական կենտրոնի բժիշկները փորձել են պարզել, թե իրականում ինչ ազդեցություն կարող է ունենալ մեր մատները ճտտացնելը: Շատերը մտածում են, որ դա վնասակար է, և մենք նույնպես բացառույթուն չենք:
Այսպիսով, ի՞նչ է իրականում տեղի ունենում մեր հոդերի հետ:
Պարզ լեզվով ասած՝ հոդը երկու ոսկորները միացնող տեղն է, որը հավաքված է հեղուկով լի կեղևի մեջ: Երբ մենք ճտտացնում ենք մեր հոդակապերը մեր ոսկորների միջև տարածքը լայնանում է: Հոդերի միջև հեղուկը բավարար չի լինում տարածքը լրացնելու համար և դրանց միջև ճնշումն ընկնում է և գազով լի փուչիկ է առաջանում: Ձայնը, որ մենք լսում ենք ճտտացնելիս, դա հենց այդ փուչիկի ճայթյունն է:
Ճառագայթաբան Ռոբերտ Դ. Բուտինը և վիրաբույժ Ռոբերտ Զաբոն ուսումնասիրել են ավելի քան 40 թեստերից ստացված արդյունքները: Թեստը հանձնաներից 30-ն ունեին իրենց հոդակապերը ճտտացնելու սովորություն, իսկ 10-ը երբեք չէին ճտտացրել:
Պարզվեց, որ հոդի շարժման ամպլիտուդան ավելի է աճում ճտտացնելուց անմիջապես հետո, ինչը նշանակում է, որ մեր հոդերն ինչ-որ կերպ տաքանում են: Սա կարող է հոդերի հիվանդություն ձեռք բերելու արդյունավետ կանխարգելում լինել: Այնուամենայնիվ, այս խնդիրը դեռ ուսումնասիրվելու կարիք ունի:
Թեստը նաև ցույց է տվել, որ մարդիկ, ովքեր սիրում են ճտտացնել իրենց հոդակապերը չեն ունենում այտուցվածություն, արտրիտ կամ հոդային հիվանդություններ:
