«Երկրապահ կամավորականների միությունն օգոստոսի 18-ից ուխտագնացություն էր կազմակերպել դեպի Արցախ, որի ընթացքում ԵԿՄ երեք սերնդի (89-94 թթ. մարտական գործողություններին մասնակցած, երիտասարդ և պատանի) հազարից ավելի անդամներ եղել են Արցախում, ծաղիկներ դրել հուշարձաններին, այցելել բնակիչներին: Այս մասին մեզ հայտնեց ԵԿՄ մամուլի խոսնակ Վարդան Վարդանյանը: ԵԿՄ վարչության նախագահ Մանվել Գրիգորյանը նույնպես օգոստոսի 19-ին միացել է ուխտագնացությանը և երեկ՝ օգոստոսի 25-ի երեկոյան է վերադարձել Հայաստան:
Մանվել Գրիգորյանը, ինչպես հավաստիացրեց ԵԿՄ մամուլի խոսնակ Վարդան Վարդանյանը, գումար է հատկացրել ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ գրեթե լիովին ավերված Թալիշ համայնքի ղեկավարին՝ գյուղի զարգացման ծրագրերի համար: «Նույնիսկ Թալիշի գյուղապետին և Մարտակերտի ղեկավարին կեսկատակ ասաց, թե՝ տեսեք, հա, եթե Թալիշ չգնացիք ապրելու, ապա մենք ենք գնալու այդտեղ ապրենք, Թալիշը պետք է անպայման բնակեցվի, դրան այլընտրանք չկա»»,–գրում է թերթը։
