«Ավելի քան 10 օր է՝ 38-ամյա Ստեփան Մելիքովը գտնվում է ԱԱԾ մարմնի լիազոր ներկայացուցիչների հսկողության ներքո՝ «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանի սահմանային գոտում։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, նրան օգոստոսի 12-ին Շվեդիայի Թագավորությունից արտաքսել են Հայաստան։ Փաստաբան Վահե Սեդրակյանը մեզ հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ Ստեփան Մելիքովի տարիքը, անունը և արտաքին տեսքը համընկել են մեկ այլ ՀՀ քաղաքացու տվյալների հետ, իսկ նրան արտաքսելը շփոթության արդյունք է։ Ստեփան Մելիքովը ծնվել է Բաքվում, քաղաքացիությունը դեռ չի պարզվել, ապրում է Շվեդիայում, երբեք Հայաստանում չի եղել, այստեղ էլ ազգականներ չունի։ Եվ երբ նրան հարցրել են, թե ում ես ճանաչում, տվել է փաստաբան Վահե Սեդրակյանի անունը։

 Փաստաբանը, սակայն, չի կարողանում ոչ տեսակցել նրան, ոչ էլ իրավական օգնություն ցուցաբերել։ Սեդրակյանը նշեց, որ Ստեփան Մելիքովին տեսակցելու ու իրավական օգնություն տրամադրելու խնդրով օգոստոսի 17-ին դիմել է ԱԱԾ ղեկավար Գորիկ Հակոբյանին, սակայն մինչ օրս պատասխան չի ստացել։ Նա ասաց, որ առաջին իսկ օրը հեռախոսային խոսակցություն է ունեցել Ստեփան Մելիքովի հետ, սակայն դրանից հետո որևէ տեղեկություն չունի, գիտի միայն, որ Մելիքովը նաև առողջական խնդիրներ ունի։ Փաստաբանի խոսքով, ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցներն անհարկի խոչընդոտներ են ստեղծում նրան հանդիպելու հարցում»,–գրում է թերթը։
