Օբաման վերադարձել է արձակուրդից եւ կայցելի հեղեղումներից տուժած Լուիզիանա

 ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման ավարտել է իր երկշաբաթյա ամառային արձակուրդը եւ օգոստոսի 23-ին կայցելի հեղեղումներից տուժած Լուիզիանայի նահանգ, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Սպիտակ տանը:

Ավելի վաղ Օբամային քննադատում էին այն բանի համար, որ նա չընդհատեց արձակուրդը, որպեսզի աջակցություն հայտնի նահանգի բնակիչներին, որտեղ տարերային աղետի հետեւանքով զոհվել էր առնվազն 13 մարդ եւ տարհանվել ավելի քան 30 հազար բնակիչ: Սպիտակ տունը հայտարարում էր, որ նահանգ Օբամայի անհապաղ ուղեւորության անհրաժեշտություն չկար, եւ որ տարերային աղետի հետեւանքները վերացնելու համար Լուիզիանան արդեն ստացել է ավելի քան 50 մլն դոլար:

Օբաման արձակուրդն անցկացնում էր Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսի Մարտաս-Վինյարդ կղզում՝ Մասաչուսեթսի ափերի մոտ: Այդ պերճաշուք կղզին եղել է նաեւ ԱՄՆ-ի մյուս նախագահների հանգստի սիրված վայրը: Օբաման այնտեղ հանգստացել է իր նախագահության բոլոր տարիների ընթացքում, բացառությամբ 2012-ի, երբ նա վերընտրման ընտրարշավ էր անցկացնում: Լրագրողների տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ Օբաման օգոստոսյան արձակուրդներն անցկացրել է գոլֆ խաղալով, ընկերների հետ շփվելով եւ ռեստորաններում ընտանեկան ընթրիքներով: Ի տարբերություն անցած տարիների, ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը հայտարարություն ներ չի արել արտակարգ իրադարձությունների վերաբերյալ, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նռվոստին:
