Վաթսուներկու տարեկանում բանտում մահացել է ամերիկացի հանրահայտ երաժշտական իմպրեսարիո Լու Փերլմանը, որը ժամանակին ստեղծել էր երիտասարդական Backstreet Boys, NSync ու շատ այլ խմբեր, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»:

«Նախկին երաժշտական պրոդյուսեր ու մենեջեր Փերլմանը մահացել է Թեքսաս նահանգում Տեքսարկանա դաշնային ուղղիչ հաստատությունում»,- ասվում է Los Angeles Times թերթի հաղորդագրության մեջ: Փերլմանի մահվան պատճառի մասին պաշտոնական տվյալներ չեն հաղորդում:

Հայտնի է, որ նա 2008-ին 25 տարվա ազատազրկման էր դատապարտվել մի շարք մեղադրանքներով, այդ թվում հանցավոր դավադրություն ու փողերի լվացում: Բացի դրանից նրան մեղադրում էին ֆինանսական խոշորագույն բուրգերից մեկի ստեղծման մեջ, որից հետո նա 300 մլն դոլարի պարտք էր կուտակել

Փերլմանի կարիերայի վերելքը սկսվել էր1993-ին Backstreet Boys խմբի ստեղծումից հետո, որի դեբյուտային ալբոմը վաճառվել է 130 մլն օրինակ տպաքանակով:
