«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Մոտ կես տարի առաջ Ազգային գրապալատի տնօրեն նշանակվեց Գեւորգ Հարությունյանը, որը մշակույթի նախարար Հասմիկ Պողոսյանի գլխավոր խորհրդական Նաիրա Եղիազարյանի ամուսինն է: Նա առավել հայտնի է որպես մեր գործընկեր եւ «Հայոց աշխարհ» թերթի լրագրող: Բայց իր կենսագրության այդ հատվածի մասին չի սիրում խոսել: Մեզ հետ զրույցում նա մի քանի անգամ հիշեցրեց, որ մասնագիտությամբ սոցիոլոգ է եւ հոգեբան եւ ոչ մի անգամ չհիշատակեց լրագրողական անցյալը: Իսկ գրապալատ Գեւորգ Հարությունյանի աշխատասենյակ էր բերել Հայաստանի մատենագիտության այս կենտրոնում նոր տնօրենի դեմ ծայր առած դժգոհությունը:
Սովորաբար, նոր տնօրենները փորձում են ազատվել աշխատողներից՝ իրենց մտերիմների համար տեղ ազատելու նպատակով: Մշակույթի խորհրդականի ամուսինն այս առումով բացառություն է: Նա ոչ մեկի աշխատանքից չի ազատել, թոշակի չի ուղարկել, բայց մի քանի մարդ արդեն սեփական դիմումի համաձայն հեռացել է: Կոլեկտիվի դժգոհությունը հիմնականում երկու պատճառ ունի: Նախ, Գեւորգ Հարությունյանը խնայողություններ անելու նպատակով կտրել է աշխատողների հավելավճարները: Նրանք մեծ աշխատավարձ չէին ստանում՝ միջինը 80 հազար դրամ, եւ հավելավճարների կորուստը նրանց տրամադրության համար էական էր: Երկրորդ, մասնագիտությամբ սոցիոլոգ եւ հոգեբան Գեւորգ Հարությունյանը վատ է վարվում մարդկանց հետ»:
