Այսօր ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմում զոհված հերոս Ադամ Սահակյանի ծննդյան օրն է. նա կդառնար 20 տարեկան

Ադամ Սահակյանը ծնվել է 1996 թվականի օգոստոսի 19-ին Երևանում՝ լրագրող և ռեժիսոր Գայանե Անտոնյանի և Խաչատուր Սահակյանի ընտանիքում։ Ունի ավագ եղբայր՝ Մուշեղ Սահակյանը։
2002 թվականից սովորել է Երևանի Խաչիկ Դաշտենցի անվան թիվ 114 ավագ դպրոցում, որն ավարտել է 2013 թվականին։
2013 թվականին ընդունվել է Երևանի ճարտարապետության և շինարարարության պետական համալսարանի ճարտարապետա-դիզայներական ֆակուլտետը։
Ադամ Սահակյանը պարտադիր ժամկետային զինծառայության է անցել 2014/2 զորակոչով Կենտրոնի Զինկոմիսարիատից։ 2015 թվականի հունվարի 26-ին զորակոչվել է բանակ։ Ծառայում էր Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունում։ Բարձր առաջադիմության շնորհիվ ստացել էր սերժանտի կոչում։
2016 թվականի ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը Արբեջանի Հանրապետությունը լայնամասշտաբ հարձակում է գործում Արցախի վրա։ Ադամ Սահակյանը սահմանապահ գումարտակից էր, ապրիլի 1-ի առավոտյան բարձրացել էր դիրքեր և նույն օրվա գիշերը ժամը 3։00-ի սահմաններում տեղի է ունեցել հարձակումը ։Թշնամու կողմից դիրքերի՝ 15-20 րոպե տևած ծանր հրետակոծությունից հետո 112 դիրքի(«Լալայկա» կոչվող բարձունք) ավագ Ադամ Սահակյանի գլխավորությամբ 7 հոգուց բաղկացած սահմանապահ ուժերն անցնում են շրջանաձև պաշտպանության։ Ադամը գործել էր ըստ մարտական հաշվարկի և դրա շնորհիվ է, որ հակառակորդը 4-5 ժամ չէր կարողանում գրավել դիրքը։Արդյունքում Սերժանտ Ադամ Սահակյանը իր զինակից ընկերների հետ կոտրել է հակառակորդի ողնաշարը՝հասցնելով նրան զգալի կորուստներ(200-ից ավելի սպանված հատուկջոկատային),կանխելով նրա առաջխաղացումը դեպի երկրի խորքերը,տապալելով հակառակորդի մշակած՝ կայծակնային պատերազմի միջոցով ԼՂՀ- ին արագ պարտության մատնելու ծրագիրը։ Ադամը զոհվում է մարմնին ու դեմքին ստացած ծանր հրազենային և բեկորային վիրավորումներից:
