«Օգոստոսի ամսվա չափազանց շոգ օրերին Երևանի մթնոլորտային օդում փոշու պարունակությունը գերազանցել է սահմանային թույլատրելի կոնցենտրացիան։
Այս մասին մեր թերթին տեղեկացրել են ՀՀ Բնապահպանության նախարարության «Շրջակա միջավայրի վրա ներգործության մոնիթորինգի կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ-ից ի պատասխան մեր գրավոր հարցման։ ՊՈԱԿ-ից հայտնում են, որ օգոստոսի 10-16-ը ընկած ժամանակահատվածում, երբ օդի ջերմաստիճանը հասնում է մինչև +40-+41 աստիճանի, Երևանում ընդհանուր փոշու պարունակությունը գտնվել է 0,142-0,478 մգ/մխ տիրույթում և սահմանային թույլատրելի կոնցենտրացիան գերազանցել է միջինը 1,6 անգամ։ Նախորդ տարվա նույն օրերի համեմատությամբ, ընդհանուր փոշու պարունակությունը մոտ երկու անգամ բարձր է եղել։
Ըստ ՏԿԱԻՆ Հիդրոմետ ծառայության օդերևութաբան, Օդերևութաբանության կենտրոնի պետի տեղակալ Գագիկ Սուրենյանի՝ դա առավելապես կապված է Իրաքից այդ օրերին մեր երկրի տարածք ներխուժած տաք օդային հոսանքով։ Դա, Սուրենյանի խոսքով, անապատներից իր հետ հսկայական քանակությամբ փոշի է բերել։
Օգոստոսի 10-16-ը, ըստ «Շրջակա միջավայրի վրա ներգործության մոնիթորինգի կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի վերլուծության, ծծմբի երկօքսիդի պարունակությունը Երևանի օդում չի գերազանցել նորման, սակայն նախորդ տարվա նույն օրերի համեմատ երկու անգամ բարձր է եղել։ Ազոտի երկօքսիդի և գետնամերձ օզոնի պարունակության ՍԹԿ-ի գերազանցում է նախորդ տարվա նույն օրերի համեմատ էական տարբերություն չի դիտվել»,–գրում է թերթը։
