Գերմանիան եւ Ռուսաստանը պետք Է շարունակեն երկխոսությունը, չնայած պահպավող տարաձայնություններին: Այս մասին հայտարարել Է Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ֆրանկ Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը՝ Եկատերինբուրգում դասախոսություն կարդալով Ուրալյան դաշնային համալսարանում:
«Մենք չենք հաղթահարել ճգնաժամը մեր հարաբերություններում,- ասել Է նա:- Բայց Գերմանիան եւ Ռուսաստանը պետք Է երես չդարձնեն միմյանցից, այլ պահպանեն երկխոսությունը»:
Շտայնմայերն առաջիկա տարիներին Ռուսաստանի եւ Եվրամիության քաղաքական մերձեցում Է ակնկալում:
Նա հավելել Է, որ «կարեւոր Է խուսափել անվտանգության հարցերում թերիմացությունից»: Խոսելով Ռուսաստանի եւ Գերմանիայի միջեւ հարաբերությունների վատթարացման պատճառների մասին՝ Շտայնմայերը նշել Է Ղրիմի եւ Ուկրաինայի իրադարձությունները:
Նաեւ Գերմանիայի արտագործնախարարության ղեկավարը նշել Է, որ «Ռուսաստանի միջամտությունը Սիրիայում անսպասելի Էր»: Ըստ որում, նախարարի խոսքով՝ Ռուսաստանն առանձնահատուկ պատասխանատվություն Է կրում Հալեպում, հատկապես հումանիտար գործողությունների ապահովան հարցում: Նա նաեւ ասել Է, թե Հալեպի շուրջը Ռուսաստանի հետ համագործակցելու հույս ունի: Գերմանիայի ԱԳ նախարարության ղեկավարն ընդգծել Է, որ սիրիական ճգնաժամի կարգավորման « կարելի Է հասնել սոսկ համատեղ ջանքերով», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
