  1. Լռությունն օգնում է ուղեղի բջիջների վերականգնմանը

Աղմուկը խանգարում է մեզ խնդիրներ լուծել թե՛ ուսումնառության ժամանակ, և թե՛ աշխատանքում. այն կարող է մեր մոտիվացիայի և ուշադրության պակասի պատճառը դառնալ, ինչպես նաև դրա պատճառով մենք ավելի շատ սխալներ կարող ենք անել: Որոշ ուսումնասիրություններ ցույց են տվել, որ այն երեխաները, ովքեր ավտոբուսի կամ գնացքի կանգառներին ավելի մոտ են ապրում, ավելի ցածր թվանշաններ են ստանում կարդալուց և լեզուներից, քան այն երեխաները, ովքեր ավելի հանգիստ թաղամասերում են ապրում: Այնուամենայնիվ, կա մի հաճելի հավելում.
