Նման եզրահանգման են եկել Լոնդոնի համալսարի բժշկական բաժնի մասնագետներն ու հետազոտողները:
Կանայք առանձնապես դաժան հոգեկան անկումների և առողջական խնդիրների մեջ չեն ընկնում ոչ ամուսնության, ոչ էլ ամուսնալուծության դեպքում:
Մասնագետները հետազոտության են ենթարկել ավելի քան 9000 մասնակցի, ովքեր ծնվել են 1958 թվականի մարտին. պարզվել է՝ միջին տարիքի կանայք, ովքեր երբևէ ամուսնացած չեն եղել ունեն նյութափոխանակության սինդրոմի զարգացման գրեթե նույն հավանականությունը, ինչ ամուսնացած կանայք:
Եվ չնայած` միայնակ կանանց մոտ կա շնչառության հետ կապված խնդիրների առաջացման վտանգ, սակայն այդ վտանգը նրանց մոտ շատ ավելի քիչ է, քան չամուսնացած տղամարդկանց մոտ:
Նույնը և սրտային հիվանդությունների դեպքում՝ չամուսնացած տղամարդկանց մոտ այս հիվանդության հավանականությունը կազմում է 14%, որը շատ քիչ է բարձր չամուսնացած կանանց մոտ այս հիվանդության հավանականության տոկոսային արդյունքներից:
Գիտնականների կողմից անցկացված ուսումնասիրությունների ընթացքում պարզվել է նաև, որ ամուսնալուծված կանանց գրեթե չեն սպառնում առողջական խնդիրների բարդացումներ, իսկ տղամարդկանց առողջական վիճակը ամուսնալուծությունից հետո վատանում է:
